I have got to say i like weapons. I'm fascinated with the ingenuity it takes to say 'lets put this sharp rock on the end of a stick and throw it at the animal we've been chasing for food the last five hours and see what happens'. I own several weapons from the aforementioned pointy stick to a high speed slug thrower. What I don't do and what most weapon owners do is understate what these things are for. What I'm getting at if you haven't guessed already is that myself and others like me that find weapons of all types fun and interesting is that we know full well what they are for. We are keenly aware of the cost of using these tools for their intended purposes. We will not lightly say things like 'you had one job' or 'he/she should be shot'. We understand that if you use a weapon be it a large rock from the side of the road or a shoulder fired rocket system the results cannot be taken back. We know that [consciously or not] that when you carry any weapon for any reason you also carry the weight of the lives you are going to take, the lives you are trying to protect, the futures of those around you, and if the worst comes to happen when you have to use a weapon for it's intended purpose the knowledge that you have taken the future away from not only the person at the other end of your weapon but their future away from every one that knew them. It's clear as day that the people on social media that say 'you had one job' or 'to bad they missed' has no clue what the consequences of taking a life can be. Especially in this case if the shooter had been successful the cult of trump [yes i think it's out there] would probably have retaliated. I like weapons i respect what they are for, I respect weight i carry by owning them, and I respect the value of life. Even that misguided fool's that took the shot. I just wish more people did. P.S. I love that Minecraft is on the screen.
