Been watching NBA since the 80s. If I was selecting an All-Time starting 5: Hakeem(C), Duncan(PF), Bird(SF), MJ(SG), and Pippen(PG) (Scottie defending Magic in the 1991 Finals makes this count.) If I have to choose a real PG, I choose Chris Paul with those teammates. Good luck scoring, not gonna happen. Good luck stopping the offense, not gonna happen. And then there's MJ to deal with. LBJ's my All-Time 6th man. He can replace Duncan, Bird, MJ, or Pippen for a breather and we keep steaming along.

It was game 6.There are only two teams to take the championship Bulls to a game 7.The New York Knicks in ‘92,and the Indiana Pacers in ‘98.No one took them to a game 7 in the Finals.

With LeBron's mental weakness, Bird would have made him into Ben Simmons like his team did when they blamed him for that finals loss that was really Embiid's fault. No way would Bron survive that mental onslaught - he'd fall apart, make excuses and end up out the league with people talking about how great he could have been if he didn't have issues, like Simmons will be. Bird, Michael, Kobe - all 3 had something in their personality that nobody else had, and all 3 carried teams on their back, never complained and got the job done - no excuses, no days off - just give 100% until your body falls apart on the court because it can't take it no more. Nobody else commands such respect or fear in the league.

Michael should've had 8, and he could've had 10 or 11, but NBA higher ups always got in the way, and ended up keeping it as low as just 6!! Bird always saw Magic as the best ever, and Magic always saw Bird as the best ever, but when MJ showed up, they both acknowledged that HE was the best ever! So yes, Magic wouldn't have been an obstacle anymore.

Teams didn't sleep well when they had to play Michael Jordan! Even when Michael retired Hakeem Olajuwan thanked him for not playing so that Houston could get a chip! When Mike came back, teams around the league were sick, confused, looking for therapists, calling out sick, taking early vacations, tried to pass a Jordan law, invent new sneakers to compete! Jordan is the GOAT!! I'm a Sixers fan.

toughest thing about it is, back in the 80's they had no 3 point line. Meaning that Bias probably would've had somewhere between 23-25 points a game in his rookie year. Even more crazy, Bias had 41 points against Duke with no threes with a bum Maryland roster.
