Did you create the synth based on the melody of the voice, or how did you come up with it ?

why group on vocals, why not dry/wet?
@marigo5714
@marigo5714 Ай бұрын
I like to use this parallel method of processing on vocals so I have a little more control over how the distortion is blended in AND so I still have access to the dry signal for separate processing! It's not necessary but just a workflow preference for me.

Thank you for the video, it's very informative, but I might need your help! :) I watched it to hear the metronome separately. I tried with both Focusrite Control and Return Track, but I couldn't solve it with either. When I added the return tracks and did all "audio to sends only' for all tracks and "master cue out to 3/4(same headphone input with video), it gave all the sound to both speakers and the headphones with no filter. Return track knobs are not active for some reason. The volume color turned blue, etc. Everything looks good. What am I missing?

I get MariGo vibes ( Rhythm and Perfectly )from Bad Snacks tracks like Trustfall and IIwannabe. Rezz gives me a Cyberpunk 2077 feel.Thank you for the recommendations.

also one I wanna highlight because she's one of my favorites is Alicia Bognanno from Bully, she is now basically solo but plays with a full band live, and has been producing all of her own records since their first album Feels Like in 2015 and recently produced The Mountain Goats'(iirc) newest album, love to see her getting some recognition for her work

Not a good idea to automate the track volume because you cant use the fader for mixing. Put a utility on the track and automate the gain knob, that way your overall track volume can still be afjusted with the fader.
