I did this by splitting it front and back so that I could hide the object (human) that was in the clip and if I had not split it front or back and done the masking the object would have been visible, so I did that.

This trick only works with still footage and if your footage is still then there might be glitches in your capcut or you might not be following the steps properly.

Pro tip: After trying this I learned that to make my own custom background for whatever reason you need at least 135 photos or more and speed it up make it look the way it does here.
