Never heard of these people but after less than a minute I had to stop and look them up ... wow! They are all serious, accomplished musicians, which even I could tell. What the hell they were doing in this setting, in front of an audience who seem, at best, a bit confused ... at worst indifferent ... For a start, they're being asked to stand under full house lights ... unsure whether they're expected to applaud at first ... a very strange set-up, with the cinema projection behind ... I gather it's some kind of homage to cinema but really, it's just distracting. But the Balanas sisters and Andrejs are top notch! Thanks ... R (Australia)

I love this group, very talented, they all play instruments and dance and do choreography on other videos. And they groove to the beat. Infinite blessings to all the Eastern Euro countries in these times of trouble. Your folk cultures are beautiful, it's what the USA is really missing.

Tikko šodien atradu šo video. Viens no akcentiem man bija tas, ka Usurper (blondīne, kas pievienojās grupai pēc Laumas un garās Lauras aiziešanas) tur NAV. Aurēlija, tik jaukā kā vienmēr, Bārainītes laikā izskatījās mazliet garlaikota, bet Dai Citas Meitas laikā ļoti iegrima. Es joprojām uzskatu, ka viņu šīs dziesmas izpildījums 2018. gada Dod Pieci līdzekļu vākšanas laikā ir labākais. Plānoju būt Latvijā aprīļa vidū, tāpēc varbūt man būs iespēja viņus redzēt dzīvajā! (Just found this video earlier today. One highlight for me was that the Usurper (the blonde that joined the group after Lauma and the tall Laura left) was NOT there. Aureilija, as lovely as ever, looked a little bored during Bārainīte, but was really into during Dai Citas Meitas. I still think their performance of this song during the 2018 Dod Pieci fund raiser is the best one. I plan on being in Latvia in mid April so maybe I willl get a chance to see them live!)

I saw them tonight in Brasa neighborhood. So good. Loti Labi. FANTASTIKS! Four ladies singing in four part harmony, amazing! The band is smoking also. Amazing bass, guitar, keys and the DRUMMER - look out for her! I got some great video btw.
