Just goes to show how slowly the industry is at making new coffee machines. The Barista Touch Impress is great but i feel like we could have had it like at least 5 years ago. Meanwhile soundbars are moving at the speed of light with improvements.

I have this machine and after six weeks I still can’t get the settings right for the two cup . I get 6 seconds of flow from “pre infusion” and then it stops. If I push two cup button again it just keeps pouring. So, an expensive machine and I have to make two z single cups (which it does perfectly)

*This replaced a smaller Keurig that I owned for 6 years **MyBest.Kitchen** I wanted the convenience of the water receptacle and while this unit is much larger than the previous one, I'm very happy with my purchase. The only downside to this larger model is having to move it from under the cabinets to place the pod and refill it. I was able to rectify this by purchasing glide mats for small appliances. Now, it's perfect!*

I got my fast slow cooker in 2017. It is a little different than this one. I have a gray gasket. And no arrows on it for placement. It is difficult to lock. I have trouble getting it up to pressure. When it works it works great. I would never get this one again. It is way over priced. My son told me to throw it out and get an instapot.

This is a nice cooker but the inner bowl has a cheap 'non-stick' (although it sticks) pot that CAN NOT BE REPLACED. The company does not maintain stock of spares - you will need a replacement after several months use SO BUYER BEWARE. I will never buy the Sage brand again.

I bought the Breville ten years ago and wore out the inner pot. Ordered a new one with no problem! I'm in the US. I've also replaced the seal twice - last time was because I was worried the parts wouldn't be available years down the road. I love this appliance!

You can cook anything in it that you would cook in any pressure cooker or any slow cooker. I'm viewing videos to see if anyone has cooked a whole chicken in one. I'm about to try it although I haven't found a video on it. I'll set the pressure to medium and cook it for 24 minutes. Hoping it turns out done and tender!

Hi Phil, Thank you for the awesome videos and your passion to engineer top of the line products! Can you please share your insight on the following two scenarios: 1) Breville Oracle BES980XL, Retail $2000. 2) Breville Dual-Boiler BES920XL + Breville BCG820BSSXL (Pro Grinder) ($1500) I understand that #1 is a compact setup, and#2 will take up more space. Now, assuming you prefer your grinder to be separate, what are you getting with #1 which you are not getting in #2? The only differences I understand are: 1) Automatic tamp (would be super nice to have) 2) Temperature control (useful, but holding a thermometer in the milk could somewhat achieve this if you are willing to monitor it manually. 3) Americano Button (pesonally don't care for this) Is there any other difference, such as the specs of the boiler? Additionally, Do you plan to add feature #1 and #2 to the dual boiler? Regards, Sudhir

would you say this machine is suitable for a coffee shop where under 50 coffee sell a day? secondly does this machine got another model comes with 2 group?
@BrevilleNZ8 жыл бұрын
Hi there, yes it would be absolutely suitable for a Coffee Shop, however please be aware that our warranty on all Breville products are only for domestic use only. If you are using any of our products in a commercial environment, the warranty will be 3months. If you go into a Harvey Norman store in NZ you will be able to get a demonstration of how the machine works and possibly even get to have a play yourself. Unfortunately we do not do a machine with a 2-group head. Thank you.

Does this grind to a smooth paste (wet masalas). Also, a dough attachment could b thought of. There r other hand blenders which have d cake mix spiral blade attachment. Your video does not demo d egg beater. The unit s beautiful and could b made a one stop accessory with 2/3 further attachments. Tks.

Wow! Thanks again for dispelling myths. This video NEEDS to be viewed by more folks. Oh, another question (based on the excellent explanation of oxygen you mention in this video): 1. How concerned should we be with drinking juices immediately after juicing vs drinking them hours later?
@tadbubs8 жыл бұрын
Gosh, I hope you two are still around? I just absorbed your article (one-page site) about juicing. Incredible, incredible, INCREDIBLE! Thanks for pulling away the wool and BS. The time and effort you two spent, on gathering and collating the research, myths, common sense was TREMENDOUS! I've been searching site after site and research after research. Thank you...thank you...thank you! I saw there was no way to contact you. So, here I am. I've a couple questions I'm hoping you can help me with: 1. How can I discover what proper juices to mix together (particularly for obese and cancer clients) that are easy on the stomach? 2. How might a person wean themselves off an unhealthy eating lifestyle, using just juicing for a series of 3-5 days; thereafter, followed by a balanced whole foods protocol?

BrevilleNZ I do love the Black sesame finish, it will fit my kitchen well. This machine does look very impressive and I used to use the commercial machines myself however I do want to try this milk steam wand, I was hoping the pressure was variable and self controlled as on a commercial machine though I guess if it works as I want it automatically it wouldn't be an issue. The thing is I was known for being very good at making quality coffee but I don't drink it myself because of issues with my heart but I want to make coffee for my family as they all love quality coffee and personally I loved using the steam wand to froth my milk for really nice hot chocolates, can't beat well frothed hot milk and a quality high pressure controllable steam wand is rare on a non commercial coffee machine. Perhaps this is the right one for me 😋 btw, I do love the smell particularly of hazel nut coffee.

What about the BES900. I bought on when in Australia in 2012, been in storage and now used for less than 9 months in total. It has now developoed an extremely loud and annoying whining sort of electronic noise when pressing the extract buttons. We currently live UK so cant return it to Australia practically. Breville are aware of this apparent design fault with teh earlier version as lots of similar posts on the internet How can I get my machine fixed in UK even though it may be out of warranty. Fantastic machine when it works, its just killing me as its just not usable at the minute with this noise. Please Help I need a decent coffee in the UK
