The original Figures were Auction off many years ago . these are not the originals .The Carousel is now a storage shed . And I am certain the building will be removed very soon . Conneaut Park is no longer . check out Todd Joeseph final Conneaut Park days video . it has been Razed !

The stationary animals are good for the little kids too scared to ride the ones animals that move up and down. During my childhood I was one of those kids!!! Lol!!!!🤣🤣🤣

Band organ update: News surfaced that it is going to get restored sometime soon. The news came out around 2021, but I'm not sure if they will actually restore it or not. I've been there in late 2021 and it wasn't fixed yet and a video from this year shows it's also not working. I hope they didn't lie.

Does this carousel have three or four rows? I can't really tell... The animals look quite nice 😊 I'd probably ride on one of the horses that move up and down 🙂 My favorite way to ride a carousel 🎠🥰

Riding on the animals that move up and down is my favorite way to ride a classic carousel 😊 The up and down motion makes the ride more fun for me 🥰

What kind of band organ does the merry go round use, I also saw that on the national mall carousel that they do play the exact same tunes, and is for sure the same pitch as well, or even fun world did have those too

This carousel looks fast 😂 The horses move up and down quickly too, like they're bouncing 🙂 Just like the other carousel I saw that had the bouncing look to the motion 🥰 The one with two rows at Sellersville

Sad that this carousel is one you can't ride 😢 But even if you could, I don't think I would like this one as much as a more standard carousel, because the animals don't move at all 😞 Not even a bit of rocking? 😢

This is different 😊 A European style carousel in the US, complete with clockwise rotation 🙂 The Musical Carousel at Kentucky Kingdom also rotates clockwise, but I think that's the only clockwise rotating carousel I've ridden... Even though it's more unique than a traditional carousel, I would like to ride a more traditional carousel with clockwise rotation as well 🎠🙂

The horses look like they're bouncing on this carousel 🙂 The up and down motion is a bit quicker than most carousels I've ridden

I don't think I would like this ride 😞 The whip effect is a bit too much on full size Whip rides for me... A smaller, more gentle version would probably be better for me to try 🙂 The Flying Tigers ride at OWA is a bit like this, but the planes swing out a little as they go around the turns, which makes the "Whip" part a bit less scary.

That's one of my favorite parts of riding the Musical Carousel 😉 Gently rocking back and forth as I ride on my tuba, French horn, or violin 😊

Another thing I like about riding carousels, both classic carousels as well as the Musical one, is the seating position. As I ride on my favorite animal on classic carousels, or the tubas, French horns, and violins on the Musical Carousel, I straddle them 😉

Straddling is where you sit with your legs on either side of something, like when you ride a bike, a horse, or for me, a classic carousel animal 🙂🎠

The Musical Carousel is my favorite ride at Kentucky Kingdom! 🥰 I love riding on the tubas, French horns, and violins, gently rocking back and forth 🙂 Another thing I like about the Musical Carousel is the mechanical clunk sounds it makes as it goes around, the "Signature Clunks" I like to call them 😉 The clunks aren't just a sound, though; the mechanical clunks also give the ride some gentle bumps, so I can feel the beat as I ride on my instrument 😊

Another thing... When the music on the Musical Carousel is playing (When I was there, the music wasn't working 😞), the clunks sound like they're keeping a beat with the music! Like drums 🥁😊

So sad to see COAA be overrun by little crank organs. I thought it was Carousel Organ Association of America not Crank Organ Association of America 😒

Yes, you're correct on that front. I am more of a big proud loud band organ type anyway... I don't diss the crank organers but Wurlitzer and Ruth & Sohn band organs are my best preference.
