Hi! Thank you very much! I was struggling with the user manual and you helped me a lot! Question: can you leave the pump on the bottle for transportation? Or would you rather remove it and put back the cap?

Optimus Polaris Optifuel is known to leak fuel. This has been known for many years without the manufacturer managing (or bothering) to find a solution to the problem. It is not that the manufacturer is not aware of the problem since there have been a large number of complaints. A friend returned five burners before giving up and getting a refund. Leakage can be seen clearly from this point in the video. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fMmahq92xM_Tp4U.html see also: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qZ2SrJyJuqmZo2w.html

To be honest m8 i really like the design of the first bergen it looks like the dogs bollocks the zips on the side pouches, the top lid, the u zip on the front of the bergen...well the whole design of the bergen just looks new, crisp, fresh looking bit of kit. I like the first bergen all the best from the Brecon Beacons in South Wales

"Air bubble risk reduced." Really? What material is the capsule made of then? If it is still PMMA then the inevitable microcracking will result in a bubble.

Looks mega lads, just a shame it doesn't have any loop on the sleeve for TRFs etc. Probably gonna pick one up, looks like perfect warm kit for late spring, summer, early autumn

I still think that under most circumstances, the MSR Whisperlite Universal is probably the better stove all things told, the exception would have been while deployed. I really do enjoy that with the MSR you can fine tune things based on fuel source, but that DOES present opportunities for losing bits, and unless war has so far evolved that all parties involved are willing to guarantee a restful nights sleep and time for cooking, you'll almost certainly be sleep deprived, operating in potentially low light/nonpermissive environments, and that makes this stove superior for that application, except the noise, but you can buy the quietstove adapter and solve that issue.

What everyone wants to know is: 1) How thick is the insulation layer - if you squash it between your hands, how thick is it 2) How heavy does it feel (I know it weighs 1260 grams) 3) How does it impact movement (especially the arms and shoulders)

I bought the mid-length boot. I found them a narrow fit. I have a very wide foot and had to leave the first set of lace loops for a comfortable fit. They are lightweight boots. In my experience, the soles were not hard wearing and the outer edge of the sole wore down quickly, as did the heel. Because of my wide feet choosing a comfortable sock became an issue. The Gortex lining created a "sweat box" for my feet; so I was constantly having to clean the inside of the boots to prevent foot odor and athlete's foot. I would not buy another pair. However, others will have a different experience.

True to size, for a change, as Snugak is usually all over the show. I have this jacket and got my normal size, fit was perfect. It's very warm as well, almost too warm when walking.

Happy to find a review on this one jacket, however I think there were a few different things you could have hit on. A jacket that costs this much and this specialized is not an EDC jacket.

I have a question about it. I have this stove, but it’s hard to start it with gas. What do you think is the problem? The stove is like a brand new one, and I can hear gas going through, but the problem is that when the stove is on and not ignited, you can fire it up only when there is little power, and after you crank it up more, it will shut down. With fuel, there is no problem; it works just fine. And with the sparky from Optimus, there is a problem too; it doesn’t ignite.

I've had the 2LE belt for a while now. Only issue I have is the velcro inner belt, which has the hook material, picks up fluff/grass/leaves when used without outer belt attached, and is a ball-ache to clean. I think the loop material should be on the inner belt, and hook on the outer belt as is the case with other brands.

So in reference to not using heat exchanging fry pans pots you said it increased carbonmooxide . Is that for safety inside a tent vestable or clised area or is it bad outside even.

Do they actually protect your hand?
@The_Ghost923
@The_Ghost923 4 ай бұрын
@Ghost2ndamendment They have some rubber pieces on the back of the hand and the index finger. These gloves might protect your hands from the heat of the gun or minor bumps, but obviously, they won't protect as much as some of the hard knuckle gloves. I'd venture to say these are more focused on dexterity than protection...
