Hey man, I have the 2.4L engine with the 5 speed auto, is there much difference to the 4 speed ?
@carenthusiast67483 ай бұрын
Why didnt you take off the trans pan? Does the car have a filter? I have a 2007 Avensis 2.4L 2AZ FSE. Just bought it and wanna do a a trans fluid change. It shifts smoth and eveything but when standing still at a redlight for example in D and engine runnning, the car idles rough with vibrations, if i put it in N it is smooth again. So I think its the trans.
@RevilHermesАй бұрын
It does have a filter but i only have 60k miles, you can change filter with double the milage or more, but with cleaner fluid, filter should survive longer.

Battery position is an issue with many bikes. Hose-clamp bottle mount positions are available, as well as rivet nuts that can be mounted in the downtube. Caulk is the simplest solution I’ve seen, though not reversible.
@RevilHermes11 ай бұрын
It is reversable, but it takes lot of work :D
@TheOnlyKontrol8 ай бұрын
Just to add to this you definitely could of drilled the holes in the proper spots and made it work with just those two stock rivets 😅 just measure before doing. You can drill threw many places on that style of battery and use a flush bolt even if that’s a requirement.

I've just bought the same motor. Comes with updated screen, P860C but otherwise the same. I'm 90% through installation. Am finding that the cables for everything are about 2-3x too long. Is a nightmare trying to figure out where to strap them all to. Also, this installation shows wheels with disc brakes yet using the brake levers that come with it which are for mechanical brakes. You can't do that with disc brakes. I had to ask them to send me a different kit-- Brake sensors. But they don't fit my brake handles so I'm going to have to change them now. They also strongly recommend you purchase a gear sensor so that when you're changing gears the motor disengages to prevent rear derailleur or chain from braking. Not a problem but should have been part of the kit as I've had to wait again. There's so much fiddling around it's taking awhile to get it on the road. Also waiting for a new cable to be delivered from China as the one provided was 10x too long. From motor to battery. Think I'll change my gear changer to the same as this one to take up less room on handlebars too. Would really love to see someone do an installation video that shows how they strapped up all the excess cables. But you did an interesting mad science job of installing your battery. Plus the stuff with the motor not fitting. Will be a useful video for lots of people. Nice one Bro!!
@RevilHermes11 ай бұрын
I don't use gear sensor. Im just pressing the brakes slightly to turn of the engine and then i change gears. Yes , these are mechanical disk brakes :D Thats why i used the levers, they have sensor build in and they are better than my old mechanical levers :D I bought old bicycle with old solutions that are easy for a caveman like myself :D
