Hey Ralphie - Been a long time for me catching one of your videos. Sorry for that. My wife and I will be moving to HRL sometime next year. I can't wait to catch some crappie.

I was long lining on Belews last Saturday.....water temps 60 and air temp about 60....I was surprised to find that the fish were still suspended in deeper water 20-25ft, I figured they'd be shallow now. But to your point, every one I caught was off a point.

Enjoy watching you catch big slabs. Can you explain more of how you locate these fish. Are you fishing open water or are you sitting on top of brush,? I was there yesterday and didn't catch anything like the ones you are catching. Thanks for any advice.
@RP-FISHING4 ай бұрын
Definitely fishing open water this time of year.. I always check mouth of coves cause any warm day they will move in to feed or even spawn.. We kept some from Saturdays tournament & they were full of eggs.. all the big ones I am catching this time year are usually in 20ft of water suspended in 4-8 ft.. 1/16 oz heads work best!!
