In many states the lack of lights on the road is to prevent light pollution. You will notice near interchanges, rest stops and many on and off ramps there are lights to assist with merging traffic. Also unlike southern Canada where most of the population is concentrated in a small area, the US is massive with thousands of miles of roadways. Can you imagine the cost to put lights along every road. I imagine major highways in large stretches of Alberta and Saskatchewan do not have highway lights either.

Forever love Soarin’ over California. The OG is the best. Journey of water is so pretty at night. Really need to make that a priority to see next time. Wow the dessert from Toledo (and the view) looks incredible. Great video you guys 😊

It was such a fun event! We went back for the summer event a couple of weekends ago and it was another fantastic experience! Everyone is so kind, and there’s always so much fun stuff to see!

I love Boathouse! I used to go there every trip but haven't in while as we were going so much! The ducky drink looks so cute, I always wanted to try it. Your food looks sooo good - that lobster roll YUM!

Boathouse is one of the best meals I've had on property. The oysters were incredible and they have a great beer selection too! Would definitely go back because now I need to try the Duck duck Razz.

@@shadowpeople5771that’s great that you enjoy it that way… to me, that reminds me of trips when I was a kid, where the objective was to get there as fast as possible. If I wanted to do that, I’d fly down. We really enjoy the journey and exploring, meeting new people, trying new food, etc. To each their own!

I too was impressed with the coordinated line dancing! I see these songs played at weddings all the time and I’ve never seen dances for these songs. We also order lobster rolls whenever we see them! But our reason is because we see them so infrequently and we are excited to eat them on the rare occasion that we can.

Do you prefer the I75 Detroit route vs the Pittsburgh route you took on the way back?

We definitely prefer the Pittsburgh route when the weather is nice! It’s so much more scenic, and it’s really fun to drive those winding roads through the mountains! I75 is nice because it’s a straight-shot, and there are lots of places to stop overnight - but we do find the drive a little bit more boring. Have you driven both and do you have a preference?

@@ever.after.adventures I’ve only done the drive one way on the i75 from Toronto or Naples, then flew back. Our next trip to Naples will be i75 south but will do the mountain route back to Toronto to switch it up and make the trip home more exciting,! Thanks 😊 Love your videos!

Animal kingdom is one of my favorites! I make sure to spend a full day if I can haha. I’m obsessed with Everest but Greg hates it 😂 aweee chip and dale in their Dino outfits are way too cute! Love their close up 😂 nomad lounge is great. AK is so nice in the evening. Looks like a great time! Such a beautiful park 😊💕 ps- poor dinosaur needs some love, I think that rides been neglected maintenance wise 😂

That wait time for FOP - yikes! Can totally relate to the heart racing before getting on Everest. Especially being at the very back. I would’ve asked to wait for a different spot. OMG CHIP & DALE 😍 They are so fun! Super jealous of nomad lounge. The drinks and food look delish. Everyone says the churros there are the best. Ah! A bee 🐝 So glad it didn’t sting you! I would’ve been freaking out for sure. First time riding Dinosaur?! Just in time before they get rid of it. Not sure I’d describe it as comfortable 😂 I did not know about the Chip & Dale Dino plushies!!! Pandora at night is such a vibe. Definitely worth staying until park close after sunset just for that. Wow what a great day at AK!

It really was just such a wonderful day! My heart typically races before all roller coasters, but I still come away enjoying (most of) them lol. There are a few I won’t ride. Nomad Lounge is amazing - I need to get back there again! I’m kinda sad that it took us so long to explore Dinoland, and now it’s going away… but I’m so happy to have these memories! Chip and Dale are just the cutest, and it makes me so happy looking at the plushies on our shelves! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

Correction on timeline 3:08 - when the visibility is extremely low due to the fog, snow or heavy rain you are supposed to slow down and turn on your hazards and keep them on until visibility is back.
