Love the old play-by-play guy. "Rock and Roll! Touchdown Hurricanes." Simple stuff but the energy fits the team.

I believe this 2024 season for Miami is going to be like 1999. They’ll be good but they will lose some tight games and next year will be the year that they’re really good.

Don't mind them doing this a whole step down from the original, that's a hard song to sing and the open D on Todd's guitar parts sounds even bigger lower.

Plenty of laughs including former ESPN guys who went to other networks ( Fox,MLB, NHL, etc)! And how can you forget Keith Olbermann, smashing guitar from Alexi Lalas. Keith thinks that he sings just as bad as Bill Walton ( 🙏 RIP)! As well as the infamous power outage. Plus a bonus from Robin Roberts. Used to work with ESPN, until Robin went to do GMA, Good Morning America.

Bob Ley: “We’ve got to be careful as journalists. We can’t step over the line between covering the story and possibly becoming part of the story…It just comes down to ethics. People trust us to know where that line is. That’s what journalism is all about.” YIKES!!!

I love how everyone dismisses the fact that FSU handed the game to MIA with 3 unforced turnovers, 2 missed FG’s, and 2 missed 4th down conversions, and also how Vick only played like 9 snaps in that game with V Tech. Everyone says they got screwed when in reality FSU had the better resume and beat Florida by 23, while Miami beat Florida by 17.

Their running back room alone, Portis, McGahee, Davenport, Frank Gore, and Jarrett Payton rushed for a combined 36,236 yards, 236 TD’s and 9 Pro Bowls, all but Payton rushed for 500 yards in a season and all but Payton and Davenport rushed for 1,200 yards in a season

The 2001 Miami team was good, but not elite. The level of competition was lacking back then. Over rated team with a lot of hype but not elite

Observations: 1. Coker was horrible at addressing the team. His pregame and postgame speeches are cringe. He comes off like a substitute teacher. 2. Brock Berlin basically ruined any chance Miami had to win a national championship in 2003 and in 2004. The 2003 team definitely had the talent to win it all. 2004 Miami probably was not a national championship team as much as they were a contender that lost too many games because of inconsistent offensive play. The defense was good but the quarterback position gave us no chance. And we probably needed a home run hitter at running back which we did not have. 3. There had to be a way to take full advantage of Devin Hester‘s talent aside from special teams.

Miami is hall of Fame U. The most dominant team of the 80s and 90s we had the best team in 2001. Frank Gore a hall of famer, Andre Johnsonr, Bryant McKinney, Jeremy Shockey, Ed Reed, all of hall of famers. Sean Taylor will eventually make the hall of fame. Reggie Wayne will get a gold jacket. We are coming back people. Look at our recruiting class this year. Our defensive line is STACKED and we have the 4th best class in the nation in recruiting and probably will finish 1st. We have the coolest helmets and those green jerseys are straight up ballin the U is where it's at.
