Bel Airs a crazy place. Not just by chance, joining the chip celebration. Not the car jacking attempt. Not even the drop top Bentley loaner cars headrest saving Jalens boys life. For me its the operator directing them to a veterinary hospital at midnight... i guess they must be used to actual animals being caught up in drivebys if they thought it would be open at that time!

Wrongfully detained? Normally im with JR on most issuse, but you lost me on this. If you travel to another country, how are you going to dictate their laws? I smoke weed and it is illegal where i am. If i get arrested for it, i dont think im entitled to be let out just because i want it to be legal. Try that shit in the middle east.... ouch.

Very, very often, athletes who are "gifted naturals" at their sport do not make equally successful coaches. Why not? Because they do not understand other athletes cannot naturally do what they did and more importantly, they do not know how to explain and instruct how to do what they did (so naturally). But that wasn't the case with Larry Joe Bird. Always a true team player chasing a win, not stats, he knew how to involve the entire team in getting the job done and this "team play" mentality crossed over into his coaching style. Rookie of the Year, MVP, Finals MVP, All Star MVP, Coach of the Year, and Executive of the Year. A true Legend in every regard.👍🐐👍

This is the smartest thing I’ve ever heard Jaylen Rose say. A Tribe Call Quest is the best!
Dont go to college and waste yall's money and be in debt for the rest of your life. College doesn't guarantee a J O B. Its actually believe it or not another way for the upper class to profit off you; the young and inexperienced but If you were lucky enough to get a job out of college; imagine being the best a what you do; Imagine having people turn on television just to watch you and what you have to say about somethin; because your an expert; your the top of the heap; your extremely charismatic ,well spoken, smart , athletic and have great taste in clothes. Then someone dont like you ;someone talks about sticking your fingers in a armpit, someone thinks perhaps your making too much money, or maybe you are a bit too influential and then the next thing you know your fired. Take your college money and buy gold.

I remember leaving church and my sister called me and told me that I needed to sit down..then all of a sudden she told me Kobe died! I am a laker fan because of him and for him to leave this earth with his daughter and the other 7 passengers that really hurt me as well. It’s not just the fact he died, it was the way he died.

As a kid back in the 2000s you were innocent and I hated Kobe Bryant because I thought he imitated mj too much but as I grew older I gained respect for him for the tough shots and being so clutch man rip to a legend in sports period

All the men Jalen mentioned are still former pro athletes who aren't as famous as the others. I want to hear about the successful black men who were never athletes or entertainers. The image of successful black man as the rich athlete and entertainer is the reason why every other kid in the hood I knew wanted to be only two things: pro athlete and entertainer. I was the weirdo wanting to be a writer and filmmaker. I also think there are other ways of being successful in life outside of just being a wealthy businessmen. Think of Barack Obama and Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
