I’m sick of my boss buying Chinese Amazon shit for shop tools that are basically one time use. DIYers can get by with it, but if you wrench for a living get made in USA, Europe, or at least Taiwan. Snap-on & Matco mostly rebrand other reputable American/European companies stuff and offer the warranty and convenience factor plus the large markup. Shop around for sure. Wait for sales and compare prices.

Hey , call me what you will , but this guy isn't wrong. I know there are some instances where paying more for a tool gets you a better tool (knipex). But sadly this just isn't the case for a lot of this stuff

How hot is it going to run. The newer stuff seems to run hotter than the previous generations. The 18 volt system and the 12 volt system all got smaller and hotter . Don’t think they will last long.
@hakz1nunke4 күн бұрын
They did sort of explain that at pipeline, saying the motor windings have a lot more copper and significantly less air-gap, air being the main source of storing heat. Idk how believe that is but it at least sounds plausible.

The gripedge is the same one as Mac. Made by the same manufacturer, the snap on is all USA made, really great qaulity just a litlle pricy.

Why do you folks always imply snap on is too expensive? A $500 44pc screwdriver set comes out to $11 bucks a piece. That’s a hellacious deal. Can you not see the quality in each one of those bits?
@IMPACTRATED5 күн бұрын
I own them both, i just mean to most people the price tag would scare them off, but price of snap on tools has never stopped me before Lol. Thanks for watching.
