@@StachePower makes sense. Yeah, a little hard sometimes to determine that while sprinting. I think if it was me, I would've laid off still because your teammate would still get an extra point or two if you finish behind him and this is also a training race, I think? Haha I don't fault you at all - I was just curious. Any good teammate would tell you that you did the right thing there too, so you have a good teammate haha 👍

Nice video André! Ryan is doing awesome this year, he won the Masters race later that same evening. I find the sprint to be so short on these crits that it is best to already be first wheel at the last turn and be on the inside, but of course that also depends on what your strong suit is.

Gateway this year was the first time I raced a crit, and I did the whole weekend. Benton ate my lunch and I left with a broken bike and two sprained wrists. I’m gonna have my revenge next year, and I better see you there doing the same 🫵😎🤝
