The stud may have come loose on the plate it's attached to. You should be able to get the plastic cover off and then get to the bottom of the base with your hood open. You could turn the antenna and then feel the bottom and see if it's spinning the stud. A local dealership might have a quick trick to help and might not even charge you much if it's a simple fix.

It will, but they will not function as independent remotes. Meaning if you go to your gauge page from your tablet, your MFD will also to go the gauge page. The devices just connects to a WIFI network from the MFD to work with Active Captain. If you're looking for independent controls and multiple locations, it's much better to get another MFD and network them together. They will get the same data from the boat but will function completely independently from each other.

We bought this cooler because it fits in between the back seats in our vehicle. We've never had an issue with items staying cold but we've only used it a couple days at a time, never for 5 days. I think for the price point and being a cooler without a gasketed lid it holds ice and cold items really well.

No, you don't have to cover any of the openings, they provide provide the covers as another layer of protection for your console.

Yes, totally normal. If the air moving through the console is warm then the fans are doing their job and removing the heat. A cooling fan like this will allow air flow through your console all the time to keep it cool instead of waiting for the console to heat up before it comes on, then trying to cool it back down.

Yes! You can adjust the swivel to be perpendicular to the base and adjust the spring loaded holder to the desired position. I've used it in both horizontal and vertical positions.
