i remember seeing that in the mid 70s. i was shocked when i found out margaret hamilton went from wicked witch in 39 to auntie em in 72.

Trivia: Margaret Hamilton is the the original Wicked witch of the west now voices Aunt em. Liz Minnelli is the daughter of Judy Garland, the original Dorothy. Mickey Rooney, Judy's friend voices the Scarecrow who was originally portrayed by Judy's co-star, Ray Bolger. Ray Bolger the original Scarecrow.

I'm surprised Jack Pumpkinhead 🎃 didn't appear in the film, Legends of Oz. That film also takes place after the events of the first story, The Wizard of Oz. Jack Pumpkinhead is known to have met dorothy when she returns to Oz.

Brains 🧠, Hearts ❤ & Courage 🎖 Dorothy's three friends already had they wanted. They just didn't know it. Dorothy herself had all three for shes a smart, kind & brave girl.

When I was at Primary School, one class did a production of The Wizard of Oz, and after they'd killed the Witch the Wizard proceeded to explain with Solomon-like wisdom how they'd just demonstrated themselves to already have what they were looking for!

I remember seeing this in 1980 on 'The SFM Holiday Network'. My Mother even sent for the sou dtrack album for me, offered during the commercial brealks, free for five labels from Texize products (which we already had in our apartment). The production is magical and the songs are phenomenal.

Thats right. She played the evil, wicked witch of the west. And then 33 years later, she voices dorothy's caring Aunt em. What a coincidence.

@@fionalistermum653 Yes. I love both movies too. I'd love both even more if dorothy's dog, Toto could talk & sing when hes in Oz. In the original film & in his sequel. Maybe he can only he prefers not to but it would be wonderful xxxxx
