I love this video. Thank you for posting and having no fluff! Question: for Business & Legal Information Delivered, how does this work with a B2B SaaS that has automated onboarding? My company is launching soon, and why exactly this this section relevant?

Hi Courtney. Best of luck with your launch! My software is in the piloting stage and I have a couple of clients. My onboarding is heavily "done for you" though, so unfortunately I cant help with your question.

Thank you so much for sharing! As someone who is quiet junior within the field of design systems, this is such a clear resource. It really helps you understand the journey of how DS components are implemented, if they should and what questions to ask along the way. So glad I found this video

Great and simple video. I got some intro to svg as well. But just curious how complicated it will be to draw curves using this approach? I am a newbie to svg and from what I see, curves are not easy to draw, unless you have a firm understanding of control points and how they are determined

I love the content of this video. Thanks for the free resources too. It was hard to read the contents of some of your slides though. Starting from 4:14 to 16:44, I had to constantly pause your video and zoom in to read what's on the slides. And even then, I still couldn't read what's in some of them. Just something to note for your upcoming videos or if you wanna do an update on this. Also, I checked your UX Audit Guide. On page 7, under the "What do you want answers to?", bullet points 1 and 4 says the same thing. I'm pretty sure that wasn't intentional. If I find any other typos while going through your resources, I'll be happy to send them over to you. Let me know the best place to do it. Thanks again for making contents like this. I appreciate it!

Is it possible to leverage AI to do the UX audit? Any recommendations of existing tools? Based on my work experience, it is really tedious to perform UX audit.
@headwayio
@headwayio 5 ай бұрын
As of right now we haven’t seen anything that’s useful for our team. If you find anything, we’d love to see it. UX is more than design inconsistencies. It’s also talking to customers to understand where they get stuck or confused and why. And AI can’t schedule calls and get that kind of contextual feedback. There are predictive AI tools for UX but for the most part they are just based on UX best practices, which we already use in our designs. We’re more concerned about business outcomes and customer success. With anything, shortcuts often don’t pay off in the long run. But we also understand that having the time to do audits can feel like a luxury with deadlines all the time. Melissa from our team had a great convo about this on the Beyond UX podcast. www.beyonduxdesign.com/episode/63-refining-ux-one-audit-at-a-time-with-melissa-gallagher/

How do you come up with metrics when the problem you are solving is actually lost man hours? No organization keeps track of the time they spend on working something whereas if your software makes that time dramatically less thats a real win but the question is how do you benchmark that?
@headwayio
@headwayio 6 ай бұрын
The only way to create a benchmark or prove what you are saying is with data. Going off “a feeling” won’t instill confidence in a potential buyer. They will want firm evidence of some kind. If productivity such as cost to complete goes down or output speed goes up, after using your product, that would be a metric to follow. “Less time spent doing X increased Y output by 22% in the first 2 months.”

Great question! I think one of the biggest things we can do when asking for feedback is be clear on what feedback we are looking for and what feedback we're not looking for. Walking through our decisions with data or similar product features that other products share can help mitigate some of these friction points.
