Wow !!! That was such a great Interview with one of the most Calassic men in racing Glenn Styres and his wife Chantarellie. Two years ago my wife and I were heading south to go watch The Snowball Derby at "5 Flags Speedway" in Pensacola Florida. We stopped at a local Grocery Store around 7:00pm to pick up a few more supplies. There was hardly anyone in the store except for one man who was putting his Items on the Conveyor belt to cash out what he had purchased.I said to my wife,I think that is Glenn Styers the Owner Racer of Oshweken Speedway. After the man had checked out, I went over and asked him if he was indeed Glen Styers. A half hr later we were still talking and we told him we were on our way to the Snowball Derby. He pulled out his Cell Phone and said take a look at these photos, It was his brand new Late model and he was also going to the Snowball Derby to race. He said for us to drop by his Pit stall at the track and we did. He was such a nice man and was sure happy we showed up. Class Act all the way.

It is sickening the level to which money is ruining racing. They don't have the experience or the judgement and you end up with kids running folks like Landon Huffman into the wall in just a horrible case of driving and judgement while totaling a car 100% because the kid was not ready for that. Turning fast laps is one thing but having the correct racing mentality and respect goes so much farther. Be careful kid you have plenty of time don't be a bonehead.

That is not at all the topic of discussion in this episode. We are celebrating a young man's very first win in this division. I'm sure there of plenty of shows where that comment is relevant. Thanks for watching.

There should be a Merch area at Ohsweken for drivers to sell their Merch on race day like tracks in PA have. I was at Port Royal speedway last summer and my Grandson was wearing a Ohsweken T shirt when the person sitting next to us mentioned he watches the races on Gforce and plans to make the trip to Canada soon.

Great interview. We were at Delaware that night and the night in September when you returned. The silence in the stands that night in June to the standing ovation in September reminded me of why we are race fans. I’m in racing because of my Uncle, Bill Zardo. His final year in racing was so exciting to watch in the Hot Rod Class. I love watching this class and the many amazing people involved in it. Cheers to many years of racing, family, and friends. Looking forward to cheering you on in the 2024 season.

Great interview, lots of thoughtful, veteran statements made JR! Congratulations on all your achievements. Where did the time go? Remember vividly this little guy running a 9 hp Jr. Latemodel when I was running a 13 hp Jr. Latemodel up at Sauble. Currently just got back on the racing scene again with the Ontario Pro Challenge series & having a blast! after many many years off.
