Hi there- that is likely the Central Indicator Light - Check the message in the instrument cluster for additional information.

Hi William- to ensure the interior lights come on when a door or doors are open, there is a switch on the upper console near the sunroof controls that has the image of an overhead view of the car with a door open. You want to ensure this button is selected. When selected, there will be a little red light come on indicating it is active. A yellow triangle warning light indicates a non-critical issue that should be looked into. We would recommend visiting your local Audi Dealer for more details. Hi Steve- thank you for sharing this with us. It is really hard to assume what the issue was without having your Audi plugged in and scanned at your local Audi Dealer. Your Audi would have recorded that event. It is good to hear that your car sorted itself out though.

Hi there- we cannot attest to the Start Stop System working at such an extreme depth. We are more familiar with the Start Stop System performing at elevations above sea level and elevation is a non-factor.

Hi there- while there can certainly be a number of factors that impact the range of an EV, Kim as based the 350 kms off of the standardized ratings from the Government of Canada.

That's correct. Some aftermarket service centres will also pull oil from the "dipstick" tube. It's much more common now.

While we do recommend that you visit an Audi dealer, you absolutely can take your Audi to a local establishment. A few things to consider would be the reputation of the local establishment, the recommended intervals for changing your oil, using the correct oil for your vehicle, and maintaining a copy of all receipts for any work you get done.

It depends on the check-up. For instance - I'd recommend doing it at the dealer at 15,000 miles because its more than just an oil change. I believe you can, as long as you keep a detailed record of when and what was done, preferably by a reputable independent shop. Also, I would recommend that you ask them to use OEM Audi filters, if for anything, just to avoid possible issues in the future.

They should be legally compelled to do it as this should be labeled a recall issue at the very least allow us to install harnesses without voiding the warranty. Buy an after market harness SUPER easy to put in it puts the car into thinking you pressed the button every time you start the car. There are loads of videos on it. You should be able to do it yourself it is that dead easy. The fact AUDI is digging their heels in acting like this would be impossible is DISGUSTING and scammy. Just when you go into the dealership to get work done remove it so they don't act like shysters and void your warranty for making your car safer so you don't DIE on the road with their dangerous system in place.

Sorry you feel this way. It is definitely not Audis intention to frustrate customers with a feature like this. All vehicle manufactures luxury/non-luxury are challenged to intergrade features to lower emissions and save fuel. While some people may not appreciate this- Audi has done their best to keep both the customer and the powers that be happy.

You have to get the harness then pull out he tray .. it is online it isn't difficult or expensive to do. Everyone is doing it because this default feature is so incredibly dangerous and Audi has NUMEROUS lawsuits regarding this dangerous feature.

Any update on how to stop this? I have an Audi a5 coupe and it also does this. I feel like people think that I have stalled the car lol.

With the newer models, year 2020 and newer is not that simple anymore. Some even say impossible. I am talking about the Audi.

@@janpravica5346 I didn't realize that the situation had changed, but you are right, it did change. I saw a KZfaq video where a guy was showing people how to do it now. It's just more complicated. Audi obviously really wants those engines to get torn up as quickly as possible.
