Haven't got past the first explanation. You've said that a 6x6 box with 1 inch sides will be 8 inches x 2. Then a 5x5 inch with 2 inch sides will be 7 inches x 2. Why isn't this 9 inches x 2? You doubled up the 1 inch sides of the 6 x6 box so why didn't you double up on the 2 inches sides of the 5 x 5 box ie 4 inches?
@tinabento-filipe1916 ай бұрын
The measurements are correct for a 5"x5" box with a 1" side the calculation is 1"+ 5"+ 1" = 7" which equates to a piece of paper measuring 7" x 7". Of course with a 2" side it would be a 9" ×9" piece of paper

You are right. In the video hight 2 inches was said and calculated only for 1 inch.

What type of brand of tape do you use? Thank you
@sugarmelts7 ай бұрын
This was just a generic double sided tape off Amazon. I’m picky about glue, but not so much about tape :)

Do they need to be quite thick paper?
@sugarmelts7 ай бұрын
If you want it to support an item of any weight, heavier paper helps with that. But if it’s going to hold light items and be more for display, light weight paper is fine. Plus light weight paper can be easier to fold and secure

Luv this...I have so much paper that I haven't used that I can make these with. Do you think the outside of the "bag" should be coated with modgepodge?
@sugarmelts3 жыл бұрын
I haven’t tried it with mod podge, but it may work. Just be sure that were the pages come together, that there’s a really tight seal (tear tape right at the edge would be great). Also I recommend doing a dry run with paper that may not be your favorite, that way if it doesn’t work out it won’t be quite as disappointing.
