I like that the blade is thinner than most TOPS knives I for one don't like super thick 1/4 blades.

I just found these, I want one so bad.. I’ve gotten a few clones from these guys.. I work at a heat treatment facility, so I want to see the hrc and maybe get a shot of the microstructure… my lab can figure out what metal it really is

I did this with a pair of channel locks and some 2 sided velcro straps, securing it around the door knob.

I have a fix for refills! I bought a pack of D1 refills off Amazon (2.3mm diameter). The only problem with them is that the plain diameter along the whole length of the refill allows the refill to fall out the end of the pen. The supplied black cap on the new refills is the same as the Weknife refill. There's no step, like with the original plastic ink tube, to hold the refill in. So, I created a step, with heat-shrink tubing. 😉 I used a small diameter tube that would just slip over the D1 refill. I cut it to 3/8 inch long, and positioned it so that the bottom end was in line with the faint joint line where the ballpoint assembly is pressed into the ink tube. You could also measure from the original but the joint line works perfectly on the ones I bought. Apply a quick flame and shrink the tube. If it has moved, you can always cut it off with a knife and try again. . Voila! You have the missing step and a new refill for your Syrinx Titanium!

Why did they use CPM M4 steel. Seems there’s so many other steels out there with a little better rust resistance. Just curious what everyone thinks

Hmm should’ve cleaned it well and used a microfiber cloth not papertowels prior to dropping it in the Ferric Chloride… You would have a SMOOTHER acid wash, and not dark, light and spotted.

what i did was stick some tape on the side of the screw thats smooth down and then screw it off after so the tape can have a grip on the smooth sode of the screw as u add tention to the side where u add ur T6-8 to make the motion smoother or replace the part and the washers for something better and thats it. i did it to my clone bailout titanium handles and M390 tanto with royal blue screws

my benchmade bailout and bugout never had a clip with a logo on it! is thaf like a second reproduction or newer one?

ive noticed that the clone has the bench made R logo a little thick and bot as sharp as the original and the font is not as crisp more like bold and thats how i was able to tell what was what in LA shopping for some knifes

I carry the Milwaukee multi-function knife as edc. For $10 you can get a 100 pack of replacement blades. I use the knife all of the time. If you contact Milwaukee I am sure they can provide several wire clips for your needs. There are other companies that use high grade steel without the hype and price gouging. I own Spyderco and am largely unimpressed with their products. To each his own.
