@@PhysiciansGoneFishing and the equation of towing capacity the biggest part is stopping capacity. I know it could tow it, but depends on how far of a distance you’re going.

This is great boat to do most of anything you want......no boat is a do it all boat. I wouldn't take it way offshore. If you want something that does well in 3-4'chop this isn't it. Go with a deep vee hull or get a Cat.

Hey Jared I. I just recently purchased a 2024 Carolina Bay and bought a Minn Kota and QD separately. I noticed that every trolling motor on the Carolina bay has a special flat plate that fits the step up gunnel and the slope of bow to rub rail. Do you happen to know where I can purchase this flat plate?

Maybe I should have talked to you. Reached out through the website and got a text back from I wanna say it was a guy named Jim. I asked about a gheenoe LT25 you guys had and had some questions about getting a poling platform installed. He said he would find out about it and get back to me. That was over 2 months ago. I’m more leaning towards a Mitzi now because it would be easier to get in and out of for lobster season.

That is incorrect.. price out the Cobia versus the tidewater and you are in the same price range. The chop job that is done underneath the decks will show when the boat gets older. That’s the difference. The tidewater process is archaic

i posed a similar question on another of your Raptor reviews and since this is more current I will ask here too: I'm very interested in what to expect from this boat in terms of handling chop while cutting across or through rivers. I often have to do this in order to fish the flats I like to target. Some of the shallow water cats reportedly handle chop well but I've never tested any of these hull styles for shallow water. thank you

It handles light chopped decently, but in my opinion is definitely a one trick pony. She’s built for the shallows, and if you got caught in anything other than a light chop, it would make for a fun day to say the least.
