I have a question about tipping and who to tip. I realize it's some what an all-inclusive location. But do you tip the wait staff, bartender, the person that shows you to your room, the person that cleans your room, or who? thanks

@bakerland111 Hi. Tipping is really a personal preference at the All-inclusives here (not mandatory but certainly appreciated if you feel the particular staff has made you feel well served). Another helpful thing would be mentioning an especially wonderful staff by name in any review you complete upon departure or after your stay.

Thanks for the sharing. We were actually in the middle of doing research and booking there for our up coming anniversary trip, when we came across of your video. Looks great there. Also, it says all-inclusive. What does that include? Thanks. BTW where is the accent from? Sorry 1 more thing, does it have a onsite beach?

Thanks for watching. The all inclusive package includes meals:breakfast, lunch, dinner, "regular' alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The beach is offshore but pretty close by. A boat goes back and fort to the beach throughout day. In regards to the accent, I've lived in multiple Caribbean islands so I suppose my accent is a mash-up situation.. Lol. Wishing you a great stay In Antigua when you visit!

My pleasure! During the day we didn't have any issue. But by nightfall they really do come out. So relaxing outside on the verandah portion is a no go unless you have good repellant. But other than we didn't have an issue during the daytime at all. It's been a while, but I think I recall citronella candles being around the restaurant at night. Hope that helps!

My pleasure. No we didn't book through the hotel, the photographer was booked externally by a family member which was fine with the hotel . I sorry, I didn't see the game room. My time was so short there, so I did get to cover the entire property (game room , spa, etc). I hope you and the kids have a great stay in Dominica!

We went to this resort in 2013, when it was owned by Sandals, "which they denied owning but they had a sales area in the resort". I was one of the many holiday makers that had food poisoning in this resort owing to flies in the buffet all over the food and serving spoons, management did nothing. Very poor resort for Antigua at the time.

Wow. That sounds like an awful experience. I'm sorry that happened to you. Fotunately, the buffet area was pretty clean, and the food pans (there's probably a culinary term for those pans) all had clear covers at the time I was there. I appreciate you sharing your experience though.

Hi! Thanks so much for watching! The room number is 43 is in the sanctuary pool cottage category . When we were there they did indeed have seafood and fish on the menu. They tasted fresh to me, but I can't say that they were "just caught" fresh, if that's what you mean. hope that helps.

Hi. The location is good if you want seclusion. But it's quite a distance from the town as well as other food places and activities. It's not too far from Stingray City which is nice. The food was ok. Not spectacular... Just decent. Hope that helps!

Staying in a nice hotel just to relax and recharge is definitely worth the money if it's possible. I think the complete change of scenery has a positive/uplifting psychological effect as well - it's not always the same trying to relax at home, sometimes the mind just needs a complete escape from familiar distractions 💛 😊
