Has anyone got any tips for resources. I'm struggling to find many tabs for guitar, with lyrics, of traditional folk songs. I have a few by Michael Raven, but would really like some others. Cheers.

We're watching Sharpe again. Loved it in the 90s when it first was on telly. John Tams was born to play Dan Hagman xxxx

And am I born to die? To lay this body down! And must my trembling spirit fly Into a world unknown? A land of deepest shade, Unpierced by human thought; The dreary regions of the dead, Where all things are forgot! Soon as from earth I go, What will become of me? Eternal happiness or woe Must then my portion be! Waked by the trumpet sound, I from my grave shall rise; And see the Judge with glory crowned, And see the flaming skies!

I love the idea of an old tradition becoming something new. Although I have yet to see Pig Dyke Molly perform, being from Whittlesey (sort of) I am aware of the resent revival of the Straw Bear festival which I would love to see! My brother who lives locally has gone most years recently, and we have tried to coordinate me meeting up in Whittlesey with him for the festival. So far though it's not been possible! I also know a few people from Peterborough who have been past members of the Pig Dyke Molly! One day out will happen!!! Interestingly, given the title of the piece, 'Moral Turpitude', I suspect that the sadly late Robin Griggs was a Frank Zappa fan! A man with impeccable taste!

I went to Sidmouth and found that the Council had destroyed the festival. They stopped people parking onernight as they used to on the quiet streets. The sea front had lost all the musicians who used to go there. Everything is now expensive and commercialised. The council is destroying Sidmouth. Look how they have neglected the arboretum and the derelict council offices. I'll bet they voted to increase their own expenses. Corruption rules.
