In order to challenge myself and because in games I'm a bit of consumable hoarder. Also the game is easy enough as it is so a bit of extra challenge is good

Yes, you can download it to a pc. For the graphics you need to modify the game files in order to have a higher resolution. The original maximum resolution is 1400x900 and in order to be able to set it higher you need to edit the .exe with a hex editor or with cheat engine

Thank you. I'm a big fan of Tolkien so I've read almost everything that he or his son wrote about the Lord of the Rings universe. Still there is a the book that I like more than any other book and that is The Bible so I'm glad to hear that you found the explanations useful.

@@cobaltoxide9476 Same for me, i grew up reading The Lord of the Rings and read it few times.. For me the Bible was long boring to read, until i found out, that it began to speak to me, and now its more an adventure to read the Bible than LotR ;)

It's a great game indeed and I enjoy playing it. And yes it's quite different from the movies but that's because it was made after the book.

@@cobaltoxide9476 Yup, noticed that (you said it in the vid). The dialogues/voice acting is better in the movies tho, imo. Didn't knew those shortcuts that you used to avoid Nazguls. (through hill)

The movie is a lot better than this game in a lot of regards. Still for a Tolkien fan it's nice to have a game that is more like the source material event wise. As for those shortcuts I discovered them after dying a few times trying to avoid the Nazguls by using the road.

I can totally understand that about Tolkien content. And yea it's quite the shame that they didn't made the planned sequels. Also EA didn't release that game for PC which is a shame :(

I can totally understand that. Especially since their seeing radius is very finnicky and you think that you are safe but they still manage to get you. This is why I saved so often during that scene. Also they really did a good job in this game with the proportions between the hobbits and anything else so because the Nazgul are so big compared to you they amplify the dread that you feel.

It was not intended as clickbait. It was just an image that i thought that represents well the first parts of this series (which involves the hobbits). If people find this too confusing/clickbaity I can change it.

Yes, they are melee infantry but I prefer to not use them because they trivialize a lot of the maps. The game is already quite easy (even when doing challenge runs) so I don't feel the need to make it even more easy. Still I could think of maybe one mission in which I might use them

Yes i do know that but I usually forget to do that. Still I like to micromanage their ability because they tend to waste them (they use a powerful aoe ability for 2 enemies, etc). Still there are a couple that I can put them on auto like Aragorn's Healing

It's a very good game indeed. For Rohan I'm going to switch from farmers to elven warriors during the siege of Helm's Deep. For Gondor I'm going to train Guardians. Also I'm going to assault the Black Gate with Gondor because you get better heroes: with Gondor you get Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimli, Faramir, Boromir and Legolas (excellent heroes with very good abilities) while with Rohan you get Merry, Pippin, Eomer, Eowin and Theoden (average heroes with mediocre abilities)

The changes are awesome and I really enjoy the new boss fights. Sorry for the mic, I had to record late at night so I was trying to keep my voice low. It will be fixed in the next episode. Also I encountered some problems with the princess costume: the right mouse click attack always crashes the game. Also the tuba sometimes crashes the game when used.

Hi. I can't really recommend a site since I got it second hand so my recommendation is to look for it in second hand/thrift stores (if there are some in your area you can go and have a look). If not I think that a quick search on google would get some results. I think that oldgamesdownload or myabandonware are quite safe but I never used them

It seems that in this game this labyrinth of razor sharp rocks is so wide that an army could very easily pass through it 😂

I put siege weapons in their own category. Also I try to use the balistas only for destroying walls, towers and buildings.

You can find this game as a free download on abandonware sites or you could find it in Trift stores for a couple of bucks

Yep. I was surprised to see the boss getting killed so quickly. As for the secret I'm still looking for it but it keeps evading me. Also In the weekend I played a bit more which I didn't record and discovered another bug: The "coupons" item applies it's discount every time you enter the shop. For example when picking the item the small sleeping pills were 10 (50% off, normal discount), next time that I visited the shop to buy more they became 5 (50% off from the discounted price). This applied to every item in the shop and VIP Room. This happened every run in which I got the "coupons" item

No problem. Yes I got it twice while playing hard mode with the wizard costume. I think both times it happened when entering a new room. I'm not sure if in both cases the room was the shop but I can check it when I get home.

Unfotunately no. But I just had another crash with this error. Yep. It was fun doing it but yeah I totally understand that it has to be fixed. I was thinking of a few ways to fix it: - the teeth machine has a limited number of payoffs (but enough that the achievement related to it be possible) - the shop sells limited number of sleeping pills - the elf bin has a limited number of payoffs before it empties
