Your video instructions were great. My coils were frozen up pretty bad. Defrosted them and the fan worked fine. Hopefully that fixed it.

@onlineappliancetech did you order main control board part # EBR85130517? do you know if part # EBR31002611 would work? it has been difficult to obtain part # EBR85130517 and all I see available as a "placement" is part # EBR31002611. Thoughts? By the way I have the same dryer as you, model # DLE7300WE.

There is no need to remove the main drawer. Too much unnecessary work. Just remove the upper tray and get the ice maker out.

how do you know if that is the problem? I have water leaking when filling and it seems to be coming from the side underneath.

You'll need to inspect the valve to see if there are any rust or water marks indicating a leak, as it's common for water inlet valves to experience this issue. However, you'll need to verify this yourself. Hope this helps!

Thank you very much for the clear and succinct demo. My LG fridge had the same issue described in your video and I fixed it by following your instructions step by step. It was shocking to see how clogged the tube is. And even after removing the tube the accumulated water didn’t drain until I used a long brush to poke from the bottom of the drain pathway. There was also a lot of water and gunk in the bottom drain pan, which unfortunately can’t be removed to clean

Great video on especially how to take unit apart and put back on correctly with no left over screws, took your advice and was patient at times, was able to replace belt, pulley and 5 wheels on my model WED8000DW4, one of my mistakes was ordering a kit that said would fit my model, the kit came with belt that few inches short and a little wider, and vame with 4 wheels instead of 5, went to whirlpool dealer and for my model it was belt specific, so got a belt and extra wheel, after putting all back together ended up with 4 extra screws, rewatched your video and I had forgot to put the 4 screws on the front face of the housing that supports front rollers, other than that your video was excellent. Thank you...

Thhis video was very helpful. Unfotunately after putting it back together the display panel has nothing, the water and ice do not dispense. the light in my fridge and freezer are working but I do not know if it is keeping it cool enough. the firsdt time i put it back together I think I was confused on soem of the wiring, but i fixed that problem and now it wont work. I replaced the dispenser, do I need a new panel now too?

wonderfully helpful video!! was easy for me to follow instructions. Never done this before. my clog was exactly where yours was at the bottom of the white tube. Only question when I put the bottom of the white tube back in did it need to go in a certain way? put everything back together, ready to turn the refrigerator back on and hopefully no more leaks 🤞😁

I don’t feel air flow at the top but there’s also ice build up behind the bottom drawer. Could it still be the fan?
@onlineappliancetech
@onlineappliancetech 15 күн бұрын
It could be the fan motor, but I recommend testing it first. Place the unit in Diagnostic mode and check if you can feel airflow. If there's no airflow, it might indicate a faulty evaporator fan motor. Hope this helps!

"Inverter boards" can be found alot of places online, including the KitchenAid website, Amazon , eBay and others. You're just have to have the part number to get the correct one. I removed mine from the fridge, took a picture of it, googled the picture and it gave me a few suppliers.

Anyone else find the compressor on this model to be noisy? I'm going crazy here. Noise started after owning for 2 years. My previous fix for when I reached my breaking point was unplugging the fridge, let it sit for 15-30 mins, then plug it back in. A repairman said I shouldn't do this because I could hurt electronics inside. With this video, I discovered I can get the compressor to quiet down for awhile by entering diagnostic mode, then exiting it. What a piece of garbage this new "technology" is. GE should publish the operational decibel rating on the Chinese parts they use and up sell us on special soundproofing or upgraded quieter compressors. NOISE LEVEL IS A FEATURE GE.

Googled "LG water under drawer" and this video was the first hit. It perfectly described the problem and walked me through the solution. Problem was exactly as described (completely clogged evaporator hose under fridge.) 'Took a total of 45 minutes to fix, start to finish, including unloading the fridge and cleaning all the really nastry gunk that had collected on the drawers. Thank you so much!
