Beautiful! Love these lyrics Red is the rose that in yonder garden grows, And fair is the lily of the valley. Clear is the water that flows from the Boyne But my love is fairer than any.

Wow Brandon, I don’t have your soulful voice or harmonica chops, but I like the song so much I do it. I do apologize to you to myself after I play it hoping I do it justice. Thanx for the comment

My first album was Beatles Magical Mystery Tour,so I enjoyed I am the Walrus most of these 10 songs.I ghostwrote Trav Wilburys & Cloud9 for George so he could be band-leader,and give Roy Orbison his comeback 1987.

Even with GTD having web/social media exposure, there is very little insight provided about how the band has been managed over the years. There seems no doubt that it is a "tight ship" and "my way or highway" approach to and to keep members on board they are paid accordingly, as there is no room for growth. That is the model, it seems. While GT has a lasting and unique style, it seems that every interview I listened to or read in 35 yrs GT seems to find a way to insult whoever he is being interviewed by. Perhaps it is part of a schtick but too prevalent to ignore.

I saw them 18 times I think? You're right. They aren't the same without Hank. I'll add, kudos to George for keeping the separation private. Hank was the best. Sad to learn of his passing.

I have several vivid memories of him on stage in Cleveland. I probably saw him w/ GTD 5 times, at least 3 first row at Nautica. I am glad to have found your posting. It was frustrating not to see anything on the web . . . yet to know even a basic reason he and GT parted ways. Wasn't the same after Hank's departure.

Yes, since Hank was forced out of the band, their performance has suffered.

Thank you for posting this. I have tried for years off and on to see what Hank was doing after departing the Destroyers. He apparently enjoyed a quite life since that time. I met him briefly at Nautica Stage in Cleveland, OH circa 1996-1997. Please know that Hank is dearly remembered by his fans. I wish I knew more about him.

Hank was much beloved, and is sorely missed, by those of us who shared his friendship…. He spread his musical talents around. … and those lucky enough to have made music with him, cherish the moments. I’ll be posting more Hank. Mike Fisher

Remember when the Voltags played this live at the U of D and we handed out cups of koolaid and a bunch of kids got them - started falling on the ground and acting out the scene in the song! Those were the days.

There’s LOTS! Most of the time I can devote to the restoration project at this time is spent baking or digitizing, BUT I could not leave this one laying around waiting until I finished all the restoration work-it seized my attention. You’ll be seeing lots of wild stuff. Voltags, Roscoe, Dave Power, the I.U.D.’s, Dr. Homo and the Sapiens are in the restoration queue as well
