I attempted Lethal Lava Land quite a few times, but coins kept flying off into the lava, so I got frustrated and stopped haha. Might try again in the future.

I take it this was either recorded on easy, or they made it so much harder in following patches, because King Bela not only doesn't really help attacking at all, but he gets pretty much completely flooded around 15 minute by Frederick. Just complete madness.

Wow! What a sneaky strategy!

Yeah so rushing in just doesnt work. The mangonel moves in straight away, there is no sneaking past it. The three monks will convert the knight and/or monks, there are two archers next to the range, and three light cav by the stable. The only way i managed to get it, was waiting for ALL THREE MONKS to come get the relic, and converting them, then finessing some group converts on some random perple men at arms, and moving all but one at last second so only the one monk was on cooldown, then moving the 7 monks, the knight and the 5 men at arms i got to fight off the soldiers while the monks converted the cathedral.

This achievement is so fucked. I started the mission at the same time as the video and the spanish destroyed the TC with cannon galleons before you even got there with soldiers.

This achievement sucks. I destroyed both Castles and TCs with 15 seconds left, but the announcer takes his own sweet time to talk, and Subotai arrives by that time.

The common wisdom is to go after Green first. You showed how going against Orange first works quite well!

I find this mission pretty cool that you can complete it conventionally, or without any unit production or conversions of anything capable of making production buildings (so in Age of Empires, that means villagers but in other games there can be multiple units that do that).

Just a small tip for people attempting this or just for any level : build your TCs next to resources, it's much safer. And farms should be touching the mill

And??? I didn't get a thing! There was a timer showing 13 minutes. Then it disappeared for no reason. Doesn't this make the achive impossible already? Then, why the king came out? I totally don't understand how this mission works. I had my timer off long before countdown too, my castle killed the king, I ain't got nothing for this!

Seems like now on the XBox the enemy sends tons of cannon galleons to attack the castles.

For anyone attempting this now: If you go further past the gates from the left side, there is a small passage which leads directly towards the cathedral. You don't have to reroll for guard/monk RNG.

This additional army on the right - what trigger calls them? For me they appear at almost 6 min mark which is TOO late.

Patched to the point where those extra units aren't able to be discovered. So I did the sneaky way. At 1:01 I go through the south end of the camp and circle around. Have my Arambis start pelting the king as my Elephants block the path. Target should be dead hopefully.

I actually got this achievment by accident on the middle difficulty. The Spanish apparently forgott to destroy the town center and once i had build up my forces at around the 15 min mark, i was able to comfortably save them.

12 Feb 2023, Super Bowl Sunday (Eagles vs Chiefs)... This approach still works and I'm playing the Xbox version recently released. I had 5 cavalry horsemen that attacked my 4 priests, but they converted it quickly enough. Achievement unlocked on my first attempt.

Correction: In your description you mentioned that Jin starts building his wonder somewhere arnd 25 mins to 30 mins.This is not true and it never was like that even on hardest difficulty back in age of kings. Jin always started his construction at the 40 th minute, sometimes it varies a bit and it will start at 41 or 42 mins but never sooner Thought u might wanna know

Very hard to do now but still doable. You use the monk getting the relic to slip in the gates then you position your monks on the far side of the wonder close to the rocks, send your knight to attack the scouts and start converting. If you do it right your knight delays all the scouts, the mangonels can't get in range and need to walk around and both the scouts/gunners path upwards instead of around the bottom right of the wonder giving just enough time.

This achievement has got to be the most annoying thing I've ever done in recent years
