I agree absolutely, but I differ on one minor point; the Ukrainians are holding the Ivans off pretty much on there own, but the US, EU, & NATO are giving them plenty of non boots on the ground support. This is necessary for some pretty good reasons. Putin is already desperate & if we put manned heavy support in play - like an enforced no-fly zone, Putin would definitely escalate w/MWD's of some kind & NATO would have to counterforce w/it's own WMD's. Things would spiral out of control rapidly. But we in the US HAVE supported our government's decision for lend-lease & this has allowed shipments of both billion dollar humanitarian aid as well as high-tech weapons platforms such as the Lancer missile system, super advanced mobile guided artillery units & rumors of light to medium tanks. All this, plus the huge amount of financial & material boycotts on Russia that's pretty much equalized the armed forces of Russia. No money plus no high technology components for advanced Russian arms plus massive corruption in the Russian military industrial complex resulting in reactive armor & body armor actually being fitted w/CARDBOARD of all things means Russia seriously underestimated its own strength. Point being that yes, Ukraine has had to do a lot of its heavy lifting in fighting Russia, but the West has your back.... 🇺🇦

It's not that simple. There are good people on both sides of that fight. Everyone thinks the Ukraine are just innocent victims, but some of the political shenanigans are quite frightening. People seem to ignore the neo-nazies that are taking power in the Ukraine. Then again Russia is run by a man who is known for poisoning people with radioactive substances in their food and staged his own personal 9/11 to take power in the first place. It's a big shit sandwich and i'm glad, for once, the United States didn't jump right in to the fray. We've been at war for 20 years. We lost some of the best people we had. Our Spec Ops are depleted. It's... Just no. People need to stop championing to jump into every fight they see. We need to learn that lesson, already.
