Brother! After these years you still have your sport glide, I am determined to buy a new one soon, unlike in some countries it has been discontinued, but in Portugal you can buy it new. I'm torn between the sport glide and the low rider, but for me the 107 is more than enough and I think the bike is much prettier and has a better riding position. Bye, a big hug from Lisbon

Hello friend! In Portugal, Harley still sells this wonderful motorcycle, I'm seriously thinking about buying one. Tell me something, does the name of your motorcycle “Alma” come from the name of the song “Alma Mater” by the band Moonspell? Big hug.

2011 Fatbob.... stays on a maintainer. New battery and stator. No extras such as lights or stereo. Dies in 3 days when not on the maintainer. Off the maintainer 3 days now...analyzer showed it at 22 %. Damn annoying.

It would have been helpful to show the fitting kit that attaches the mounting plate to the rear rack. There's four "W" shaped brackets with bolts, square washers and nylock nuts. The process is pretty fiddly and not very intuitive so showing that step would have been helpful. I just put on mine and, at first, I was concerned that, because the nuts are accessible from underneath the rack, that someone with a wrench could simply undo them and steal the top box. However, I realized that, since the nuts are nylock nuts, unless you can hold the bolts from the top, the bolts will just turn and you can't remove the nuts. With the top box in place, you can't access the bolts so it is secure from theft.

I have a 2019 Sport Glide and am very happy with it. I agree with you on all of the dislikes though!🙂 The short front fender is absolutely useless, but this is a typical Harley styling choice over function. I really don't like the L/R turn signal switches at all, very uncomfortable (the right hand one) and annoying to use. Something you just have to live with. The gap under the rear fender is inexcusable imo. Shame on Harley for not addressing this. The electronics under the seat are exposed to water during rain rides. I covered mine up easily enough but that should not be the owners job. I have one dislike you didn't mention - the single disc front brake. It is "adequate", but I really wish they would have added a second brake disc. This bike is still pretty heavy and with a passenger and full touring luggage load a second disc brake up front is in my opinion a necessity. A very poor choice on Harleys part from a safety perspective. Overall I still really like the bike though and am happy with my purchase.

I was hoping to fit 2 full face helmets in but just a bit small for both. Love mine. Love the extra brake lights.

Trial and error pal. 😸 On saying that, it didn't spoil my enjoyment of the video.👍 That's disgusting and really annoying about the fly tipping where you recorded the vlog you released before this one. 😠 Looking forward to a catch up sometime (I still owe you at least one coffee! I've been at Shetlands for work during 6 hours only and it's true, amazing place, nice roads for a motorbike. First place that I see a Triumph Rocket and during a short conversation with the owner he said that the roads there are beautiful to ride. You must be prepared for 12h for a boat trip each way, I recommend to book both trips with a cabin included (the podes I had on the w there are very uncomfortable). Probably the best to explore the island will be 3 to 4 days to stay there. Amazing views all the way around, beautiful beaches, beautiful fisherman's villages, will be worth your time there.
