I swear the first time I saw this scene back in 2017 it made me feel like a child full of wonder once again. I remember I smiled bc I had found something really special. I had already grown tired of most anime by that time and gave a chance to only a few random series. I will never regret giving MIA a chance (and Houseki no Kuni too btw) 🩷😭

im almost done watching made in abyss for the second time, and im about to buy the rest of the manga volumes i dont have (1-10) since i have just 11 at the moment. i really see this being one that i watch multiple times over, which i havent been able to do with any other anime so far. despite how dark it is, i feel like i can call this my comfort anime, oddly enough. such a masterpiece of a show
