I’m short and put a 5” on my street glide. It works but the odd part is it blows my shirt up.

I put the 8.5 on 15 SGS and is perfect. Im 6' and with the stock shield i had the wind hitting me right in the eyes.

Just to let everyone know, the truck bed liner on the trailer works. I can actually load the bike onto the trailer without spinning the rear tire.

Not worth the money, you can buy a single axle covered trailer that holds two bikes for 5 grand.

The first time I loaded the bike on the trailer in the garage, my left foot slipped on the slick paint on the trailer deck. Luckily, I was able to throw my foot upon the top of the tire fender and saved myself. I almost wound up as the meat in a sandwich between the bike and the garage wall. That’s the reason for the truck bed liner application on the trailer.

I read, as was told when I picked up the trailer, too only load the bike when it is attached to a tow vehicle. I can tell you that it really jolted the front dolly wheel when I loaded the bike on it when it wasn’t hooked to a tow vehicle.

I bought a bike lift from a Dennis Kirk catalog in 1996. Made in California, the lift assembly could set alone and stationary or you could set it into the 4-wheeled cradle that came with it. I still have it and remain opposed to buying anything made in Communist China.

Harbor freight hydraulic jack It work great That resembles those big red jacks that were junk.

Another thing, if you plan on keeping up for awhile, be sure to go up enough to engage the lock. It does loose pressure over time.

I bought the same jack a few years ago at Harbor Freight for $69. Works great, a bit nerving when you lower it from the mount side. From the Kickstand side, Not bad. BTW, I put a couple pieces of red electrical tape around the under frame so I would get the jack in the same place each time.

Update, i had the dealer reroute the clutch cable, it doesnt hit the tank anymore.

@leonwoods6097 do you still like them 12”? I am debating on the 12” Bison solely because it’s the 1-1/2” bar vs the 10” Mayhems (1-1/4” día.). I am 5’9” so I don’t know how much that goes into account.

Hearing you complain about J&S made me think about when I bought a cheap Chinese jack off ebay here in the UK...... the seller said it was despatched and gave me a tracking number which the courier said it had not been collected by them yet. A few days later it's the same story so I contacted the seller asking them to check with the courier..... after two days the seller refunded me in full and sent a message telling me to go buy from another seller. I didn't bother and it's maybe just as well as about 10 days after that the damn courier left it on my doorstep and it has cost me nothing - how's that for customer service !

I bought my jack at Lowes for 89 dollars. Has up and down pedals. was totally assembled. I can move it with bike all the way raised . Be careful the part that holds the handle breaks on those .

I'm looking at the Welds, and I seen worse welds but I seen a lot better too. That's the first thing I look at is the welds, if I don't like what I see I send it back.

Have you been trying to get your money back? or you just like most everyone else today and just say fuck it. Also if you send the company a review tell them the two platforms where the bike sits on to be raised should be about 2 or 3 inches longer. That's a huge problem with these bike jacks they aren't long enough.

Man, the box my straight jackets came in was the same way. Tore all to peices. Thank goodness the bars were still wrapped up. No bends or scratches.
