This is the very first song I learned on guitar. I was 8 years old in 1971. Had a brother a lot older that played guitar. When he played I was always right there listening to him with my eyes glued to the fretboard. One day in summer '71 I was watching him play and he said "Hey man, you dig the guitar, don't you little bro." I said yes and he said "Far out, man". (Yes he actually talked like that LoL). He walked to the closet and grabbed an old Gibson Melody Maker he never played much and put it in my lap. I said "Wow, you're going to let me use it". He said "No, little bro. I'm going to let you have it for keeps." Then he sat down with his guitar and showed me how to play Pipeline. I'll never forget that day. I was so lucky to have an older brother like him. We live 500 miles apart today but we both still play and send each other videos on FB Messenger. ❤👍✌️ Far out!

Jackie Wilson and Elvis were friends. When Elvis met Jackie, Elvis said " It's time the Black Elvis meets the White Elvis."

Lot of sour comment's. Its one of the most beautiful things you could to do with your son regardless of talent. The people there loved it❤❤❤ from a dad.

Joel, great song, great performance, but I think it should be when you wore a tulip, not when you were a tulip. If you correct it, please delete my comment.🙄 I don't speak emoji.

we need a full gospel album of Jerry Lee's, both rare & well-known recordings, in boxed set. Thank God for You-Tube that gives us all his gospel, country, rock songs to play over & over & over.

I'm a huge Little Richard fan and as much as I like his music but this really isn't the best version eh because he says the same thing over 100 times (Because he forgot the rest of the lyrics)

This is my grandpa. Great talent but chose to dedicate himself to jerry lee and let jerry get the spot light. This man, BILL STROM, could sing and play that piano as well if not better than jerry lee. Love you papa, watch over me and your great granddaughters. They would of been the daughters you deserved. Love you PAPA. RIP Until next time!
