Props to Mark Oliver and the staff on the voice direction for the different types of Garmadon. Lord Garmadon is that classic evil villain in a kid's cartoon with how he acts and is so quick to anger. But he holds love and regret in his heart with how willing he is to side with the ninja and be a father to Lloyd. Sensei Garmadon is more soft-spoken, and cautious, has a strong sense of judgment in things, and is willing to admit fault for his past actions. Emperor Garmadon sounds completely evil, he lacks that cartoonishly evil personality he formerly possessed before turning good, so devoid of life that he is an empty shell.
