A shame to lose from an error, after what looked like a decent performance against a strong Step 3 side, but that’s football. Flynn Clarke looked lively. And the new boys to Step 3, Hazell and Haylock, seemed to have picked up where they left off last season. The points will come.

I’m in 2 minds of what Luke Holts best save of the season has been. He made an incredible save on the opening day away to Basildon where he tipped a shot on to the crossbar and he made another incredible save away to Brentwood in awful conditions.

Ok, watching it back there dosn't seem to be any contact for the fitst penalty call but the second one was clear as day.

Having watched the highlights from Lowestoft it’s interesting how the editing fails to show the number of chances/shots the Regent had during the course of the game .The Regent keeper didn’t have one diving save to make all game and only had a few punched clearances to deal with.

Tough place, but I thought their supporters were great, all those flags and good conversations :) Great to see our "London" Lowestoft people there supporting too, an overwhelmingly positive day out and a fair result. The next day It was good to see our manager on the pitch at Crown Meadow on Sunday (a 6-0 win for Lowestoft in the veterans league cup even though Jamie's shot was saved).

Absolutely brilliant and great to watch. I am from Lowestoft but live in Kent.
