Exactly what this life-long drummer needed to know for his HB GT P90 that I got. Just because. I had to crank up the volume on your video and use CC. I'm vintage.

Great video, soothing music. Nice to see that you are using the same magnetic digital counter that I bought for winding my pickups as well!

Hooking the wire makes it easier to solder and makes a better mechanical connection and is no harder desoldering. It's not that hard to figure out.

Amazing video, just bought a Harley Benton for peanuts with P90s, previous owner(s) bravely tweaked everything they could, especially the pole pieces. Having watched your I went through the things you mentioned and the guitar stepped into a different sonic level. Thanks. Subscribed! :)

Sometimes you can just bend that ground lug over and solder it right to the pot.

nice solder job unlike most youtube vids. but always use lead/tin solder not lead free. that stuff does not like vibrations, impact etc

Thank you so very much for this information. All of us out here in Guitarland are eternally grateful. I have a question about the effect of sound, or tone, when you flip the lead wires from hot to ground on a single coil. Does the direction of the wind, or rather, how the current flows in that wind, effect the resulting tone of the guitar? I would think not, but that's just my presupposition. Any thoughts on that?

Those connections will probably be fine but they are not textbook joints when you just use a straight wire and solder. Need hooks
