I keep coming back to this song and every time I do, I am deeply moved. Everything you composed in this song is crafted beyond words, but I can try. The somber tone is beautifully captured by the piano and your voice’s tambre works beautifully, complimenting and amplifying the dark, emphatic tone. The lyrics tell of a romantic tragedy as the lyrics give two perspectives of lovers facing the end of their romance-one close to death. The person dying feels that their passing will be too burdensome to the other, so they become cold hearted, trying to push everyone away. However, their partner wants nothing more than to spend their final moments together in a loving embrace-willing to take the pain of seeing their loved one pass. I love this mashup deeply and I am saddened that you can’t put it on Spotify for me to put in a playlist, but thank you for sharing your music with us all nonetheless.

Sometimes I watch the videos themselves or tab back over when I know a part I really like is coming up [like a little dance/expression/sitting down] but despite how often I listen to this one, I just noticed Clem's goofy ass 'spring to life' at the beginning. That got a chuckle outta me. Then I noticed on top of that he stares at nothing for the first few beats and then- "snaps out of it" right before he starts singing. That's clever. I like that a lot.
