We got video from early 2000s him on tidal putting pike in sacks and off on boat . Bloke is a full weight w4nker. One day he left leaving carp sack with big pike in to die because he’d been caught. Also boat insurance job with nige Williams 🙈🤣🤣 con man !!!

Neville is not a con man I’ve bought bait of him for many years, he replaced bait that was delivered a few days late. He has done more for Pike welfare than anyone I know

This guy followed us around laid in grass watching where an what we caught 🙈 most under hand bloke ya would ever meet 🤣 mention Derek Gibson to him and the photo shoot he had with all those big pike went belly up. I’ve been stalked by Pike anglers and stalked a one, lucky we have itags now😜 Neville is great value catches a few and writes a great book. Good pike anglers local to each other rarely get on.

You're right about putting sleeves over crimped connections, water will get trapped and rust the wire. Seen people's traces snap because of this. I wouldn't attach the upper treble like that, you're creating a weak spot by twisting the wire. Use another crimped connection and then another to a swivel. Also, use semi barbless hooks to begin with, not crushed bards, which weaken the hook. I've been doing this for nearly 40 years, caught a lot of big pike in my time. Traces should be as good as you can make them. I'd also used a carbon or coated wire, which is much kinder across softer mouth tissue.

I’ve had a few pike over the years, never had a trace like this fail. Keep it simple. I tried titanium when it came out failed and binned it.

It’s mad at the moment did two 40s that day. The trouble is when they get that big they die. If they spawn ok the record may go soon but maybe not.
