the "findstr" prg is not found by the Kohya_ss installer, it causes an error, but it is in my environment variables

Till now there was a bug in bark-gui that no matter models you chose you got the small models now it got fixed so now you need to select the argument -smallmodels and click save then launch, next update it will be default.

How to choose the installation path?

Hey, the is an old video does not have that feature yet, ill soon make new video. To choose a installation path: download version 0.0.8 and above. Select on any project at bottom under "Actions/set custom project path" Click "Browse" select the desired folder then click Set Path and then activate. This will activate new folder to install or will activate existing installation.

@@Distty I tried the latest version of the gui and the install python prompt didn't function so i had to use the older 0.0.8 version which is now working, also needed to move up the python automatic installed path to the top of environment variables for your gui to detect it.

@@zebis3534 Thank for using seait, and thank for the info it is helping me. Requirements detection that added in 0.0.8 did not changed in 0.1.0, so in 0.1.0 your python not getting detected? I will improve the requirements detection. Although i found a way to completely remove the git python requirements, just need more testing and the implementation, it will take sometime, but i hope it will truly make it standalone.

Thank you for the software, it really does make things more simple. Unfortunately the installation doesn't work for me, I'm keep on getting "couldn't install torch" message along with a line about a newer version of pip even though I already got the newest version. any ide what might be the issue? no other python versions on my machine.

Hey, thank you for downloading the software, What python version you got installed? its recommend to install the python the comes with my software in the installers version in general you need python 3.10.6 update me if it is not the case.

3.10.6 is the one I use. I managed to install the torchvision manually by running the cmd as administrator and running the command "pip3 install torchvision", but I can't seem to do the same with the torch. is there a command I can type manually that will install torch? I'm sure it will resolve the problem

@@fat_chavez Try to use python -m pip install torch==1.13.1 torchvision torchaudio --extra-index-url download.pytorch.org/whl/cu117 or python pip install torch==1.13.1 torchvision torchaudio --extra-index-url download.pytorch.org/whl/cu117 if it is not working try python -m pip install --upgrade pip but you mention you did. if that didn't work reset your computer. if that didn't work try to uninstall python and reinstall it again and make sure to choose "add to PATH" when installing. The software should do this for you i am trying to see what went wrong with your installation. Update me how it went.

Many thanks for trying to help. I tried all of it but after the download is complete I keep getting error messages that acording to ChatGPT are 'TimeoutError'. The connection on my end is stable and the problem continues whether I'm using wifi or lan. I don't think there's something wrong with your tool since I also enconter this problem when folowing 'RoyalSkies' tutorial on KZfaq. once again thank you for trying to assist

Yes, I understand that it is not ideal. I created this GUI because some users requested it. The video's purpose is simply to present the GUI. To be honest, as I mentioned on the repository page, I have not extensively tested it. I just made the GUI and ensured that everything was working correctly. You can find more information on the original repository. From the limited testing I did, I obtained good results with one or two iterations, but I am not sure if it is better than other methods currently available. I hope this clarifies things. it would be better if we had some description about all these options. What is iteration for? why alpha should be used? which settings gets both ckpt files merged together well, without much loss?
