Great job on the challenge, especially with drawing in ink instead of pencil! That is very bold. And yes drawing people can be hard! In my personal experience, if I get lower back pain its from low potassium. But then I am on a crazy diet. Its low carb (ketovore). Then add in lots of walking + hiking and other stuff like yoga + horseback riding --- low potassium.

I really like the way that you shade. It's something that I'm trying to implement more into my own drawings. Have you done an in depth video of how you shade/draw? Or know of any good places that I can learn more about it?

hmm one thing I can think of that's helped is studying values! Before I draw/paint something, I'll turn the reference photo into greyscale so that I can see the values easier :-) I never used to do a big enough range in my shadows and I think that's helped a lot!

@@bri.forcier Thanks, that's something that I've started doing too. I've been practicing cross hatching (or at least, my version of it :P) and turning the reference image to grey scale has definitely helped.

great idea to sell already framed prints! and love they were all different. I always watch till the end! 😊 what some people do (and what I usually do) at the end of the video is suggest a certain emoji to be left in the comments if they watched till then... usually something related to that particular video. that way it's easy for you to see and fun for the viewers (and they don't have to necessarily write anything). just an idea! 🐸

thank you!! it's really different from any other medium I've used, which is why I think it's been really fun for me lately. But I was so scared to try it beforehand!! I've never used water color pencils :0
