Robins hair color is brown not black. The UK 123 eBay shop that made him also chops his legs off. A better 1:32 model of Robin is included in the Polar Lights Batmobile model.

The torque of an inline motor tends to make the car tip sideways a small amount under acceleration, whereas the torque of a sidewinder motor is applied to the rear wheels, forcing them into contact with the track, giving better the car better traction and more speed.

An inline motor distributes the power or torque equally between the two rear wheels and is more realistic to a real car, whereas a side winding motor puts a little more power to just one of the rear wheels. Which is why it will never be as good as an inline.

Replace the magnet in the cleaner with a small amount of lead. The lead will keep the cleaning pad on the track without the added benefit of magnetic attraction to the rails.

Mine's on the way 😀 I'm glad it has a sidewinder motor configuration as they run better than inline when the magnet is removed for club racing on wooden tracks.

Great looking model. I must admit I'm not keen on the side winder configuration either. I'd sacrifice the back seat to have the motor in line if necessary.

The 97 seems to be the faster and better handling of the two cars. The are both superb looking cars, although I think my favourite is the 97, due to the JPS livery, although the Camel livery is also very good.
