I started at 9 and it was so painful I'd be on the floor crying. I was never taken to a gynecologist. Mom wouldn't put me on BC cause she didn't want me to think that was a "green light" to do whatever when I was 16.

I had a cryptic pregnancy. I didn't know I was pregnant with my son until I was 7 months pregnant and he was almost here. No signs, no symptoms, no weight gain( actually lost weight) , no showing at all, still had gotten my period. It was crazy, I went to the doctor because I was sick and thought it was the stomach flu, because it was going around and I thought I caught it. Well 😊 come find out " hey! Your not sick your pregnant🎉 and due in two months" 😮😅 it was a joy and a stress all in one shot. 😅

Imaginr a 12yo going through the pain of childbirth, for 1 week every month. Let that sink in. That would cause trauma fr.

My mok thought she was going rhrough menopause with my younger sister (totally possible, very large age gap there). She was complaining of symptoms of menopause she was experiencing and said "its almost like im pregnant" when it hit her. 😂

This happened to a friend. She went in for stomach pain and came out a mom of 2. Baby was full term but quite small, had a few minor problems (genetical), and went home a week later. She's 4 months old now 😅

That happend to my sister

I had just had a baby, when my sister said she missed her period. And she thought she was going through menopause early. At that point I told her no I think she's pregnant. She had PCOS so she also had very short periods and usually one every other month as you only ovulate every other month usually. Yeah she was pregnant

Been dealing with PCOS for quite sometime. I’ve noticed over the last few years it’s gotten worse, I believe I have endometriosis as well due to all the pain I’m always in. I need more answers, do you have a way to get in contact with you?

I had a fibroid the size of a grapefruit. I would bleed so heavily it was ridiculous. I finally had an episode at work and ended up in the ER. I found a doctor who said he would do a hysterectomy. At that point I had 2 sons and didn’t want anymore children. Despite a horrible experience with the nurses after my surgery it was the best thing I ever did. Why did I spend so much time suffering? I believe if you have the life,family, children that you need why go through a monthly ordeal? I believe that women should be in charge of their bodies and if you want a hysterectomy you should be able to get it. Men have vasectomies no questions asked. Women don’t need to suffer every month.

This is why regular doctor check ups are important!

So I assume that in cryptic pregnancy the baby suddenly stop moving for 9 month and only moves when about to be born, right

My parents' friend always had easy pregnancies and births, periods still, no real cramps or big labor, no real weight gain, no sickness. So one day, she thought she had to go to the bathroom really bad, went to the toilet and a baby came out into the toilet. Didn't even know she was pregnant and was alone at home. Called her husband and said "you'll never guess what just happened, I just had a baby girl in the bathroom" He dropped the phone and was screaming - what, how did that happen? She said how do you think and laughed. So he came home and took her to the hospital and everything was fine. I had a neighbor that said to me - guess what, I'm 8.5 months pregnant and didn't even know it. She was at the Dr. for her normal annual checkup and he told her and said, no way, I can't be I have no symptoms and this was in the 70s. She was in complete shock.

One of my work colleagues, a lady at the age 48, found out she was 5 months pregnant! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Lol she didn’t plan it and blamed it on failed birth control. The weird part she felt was telling her 3 older boys they were to welcome a new sibling. They all laughed and thought she was joking! 😂 Their baby sister is 4 yrs old now and just started preschool! The only girl in the family and she’s spoiled by her big bros! 🥰

Any time you have unprotected sex and you think you can't be pregnant that's when you are. Even sometimes you can get pregnant when you do have protection you can still get pregnant. The only ways you can keep from being pregnant is if you or your sex partner have been operated on to have your female reproductive organs removed or he has had his tied off or removed. Best bet, don't have sex. God bless.

I dont know how anyone processes this. I cant even fathom being so caught off guard with a whole ass human life with zero prep. Im sweating thinking about it. My tubes are tied but even i worry sometimes because shit like this happens.

Just imagine how many young teenage women could be spared endo misery when it shows up with the first period and never gets better. GP's and GYN docs should recognize it's not normal to feel shitty when you're on your period. More GPs should geg training on serious gyne issues vs just catching babies

I feel this. Went into ER just to check on baby had no idea I was in labor. I was actually 8cm dilated and if I had waited any longer baby would’ve come at home.
