Stopped in the Ruskin many many times over the years used to go there when Graham was the manager accident food excellent hotel the rooms where a bit small but now they've extended it has certainly altered the Ruskin always did have a good name not been there for about 2 years but looking forward to going back there yeah in your video the rooms were nothing like that in the old part of the Ruskin let's make this perfectly clear

having had experience staying at the imperial i found it a depressing rooms that are cold old wooden draughty windows and rooms are not properly clean. hotel is credited to be 4 star but that must have been some years ago i think it would be hard to push 3 stars suggest try brittania grand in blackpool at least it is warm and clean .or a b&b.

Thanks for your Comments. Yes, it had not been cleaned. Unfortunately, when we arrive we start filming before we go into the room so did not notice until the camera was rolling. At that point, it is hard to take back our arrival and when we filmed the 2nd room aspects of the first room was mentioned in the video so could not separate that either.

We went there for years and saw a very steady decline. Massive turnover of staff , the standard of decor has also gone down. Food not always up to Hotel standard. Best person to contact is Alison who runs the whole place and gets things done. Im Charles DeVere from Ribble Valley.

The Imperial has had a new manager. To be fair, the Management Company that manages the Imperial is great they also manage the Lyndene.

Last time I stopped at the lyndene hotel about 6 years ago there was bedbugs in the bed you could see them crawling on the bed came home with a big rash over my body

Thanks for your comment. The Lyndene Hotel changed management in February 2021, so the incident you speak about happened before this. These days, happy to say they are much better and would love for your return.

Thanks for your comment. The ride that you are thinking of at Blackpool is the Big One. So that Rollercoaster stands at 235ft and has a max speed of 85mph where Hyperia at Thorpe Park stands at 236ft and has a top speed of 80mph.

@FannyLerouxTime hi Bianca is the Park Manager for Alton Towers. She produced a statement at the beginning of the season regarding several things including the Hex. This can be found online. Saying that alot of work had been put into work into this and will be opening towards the middle of the Season.
