What happens if it collapses? Its Black Friday & a windfall for those who have saved and held off buying at the top of the bubble! The fact is China is a saving nation, NOT a country buying on credit, so the net result will be a primarily PAPER loss in China, as opposed to a real asset loss. Similarly bank exposure is minimal as investments are more for speculative value & NOT for the actual costs. The mistake is comparing it to the market structure of the west based almost entirely on credit.

SEH is drilling for gas and has just recieved funding of $100mil for 51% stake by MIE holdings to help take the company to production over the enxt few years. Huge resource and still a lot to be explored. MIE paid 100 Mil for 51% which makes the valuation at 200 mil but the current market cap is only 80 Mil. Thx
