Off the stage TripleS is goofy, silly, weird, and immature….but on stage they are a machine. Their performances are definitely fun to watch. They do so many cool formations and transitions, especially when the full group is on stage. I know there is other requests out now for what to do next. I’ll just throw in a suggestion for their subunit Aria with the song Door. It’s their ballad subunit that features 6 of their vocalists. Of course Dahyun is in it and she really flexes her voice. It’s one of the best vocal songs that came out late last year.

For some info from Kamilia (KARA´s fandom): KARA debuted in 2007 in South Korea as 4 member girl group. Member Sunghee left the group due to parental pressure, and members Goo Hara and Kang Jiyoung were added to the group. KARA became the Biggest South Korean girl group in Japan after they hosted an event at Tokyo Dome in Japan and had many other big steps in Japanese music market. Which is one reason why Kpop is big in Japan now days, I think there was 1 or 2 Korean single artist before KARA that made it into Japanese music market. KARA´s song Mister (singed in japanese) was their hit song in 2009 with the legendary butt dance in both countries and other Asian countries maybe even world wide. In 2014 members Nicole and Jiyoung decided not to renew their contracts with DSP Media (music label) and left the group. DSP Media hosted Baby Kara project to add one more member, winner was Heo Youngji. After baby Kara project one of the contestant too her own life, because her contract was cancelled due the fact she did not get into KARA and was not doing to debut in DSP media's other upcoming girl group. In 2016, DSP Media announced Kara's disbandment after Gyuri, Seungyeon, and Hara's contracts expired. The newest KARA member was the only one left in the company and I think she is still in DSP media today. On November 24, 2019, Hara was found dead in her home. At the time it was told that because of her depression, online bullies, her ex--boyfriend legal battle agents her, she took her own life. After the Burning Sun night club scandal, that Hara helped other woman to make it public, I think that she might have been murdered instead. But that is not confirmed yet anywhere and I don´t know, if her death is or not reopened. I have to wait and see. After her death a lot has happenned. Her brother has been fighting of Hara´s inheritance, robbery of her home, their mother, making the Hara act become a law in South Korea. But anyway, back to KARA. KARA made comeback in MAMA music award in 2022 with song When I move. After that most of the members have made solo songs till just couple of days ago they published I do I do and Hello. Hello is B side track that is singed by all 6 members. This song is special, because they have recorded it back in the 2013 to be in the year´s album, but it never made in it. Just 10 days before Hara´s death, Hara did publish her Japanese solo Midnight Queen and Hello as her b side track in Japanese at Japan, both songs has music videos. So because they all had singed Hello song, they just had the newest member Youngji sing it to become 1st and last ot6 song ever published by KARA till this day.

Having seen them 8 times now I can tell you that this is exactly what you will hear, every performance. What you will also get, every performance, is the best individual to front a band since the late, great, and still much missed Freddie Mercury. Asami is not as flamboyant as Freddie but she simply will not allow the audience response to dwindle, either between or even during songs. She works the whole audience, left, right, front, back gallery..non stop. She will come over and perhaps sit on a monitor while M&M are soloing, giving a little wave. Not to the crowd, but to an individual. She will point, smile, wink and that is why the crowd respond because she makes them feel good, special. Watch the overwhelming majority of harmonised guitar sections by the two guitarists with one brain and there, in the centre, will be Asami…like a proud mother, arms outstretched in acknowledgement of her girls. And none of this is forced. It’s genuine, because she very much wears her heart on her sleeve. I’m not singling her out for any other reason than to draw attention to something that has to be experienced to be truly appreciated, and because it is not something many reactions make reference to, which is no slight on them.

Haruna is something else...not even 5 ft. tall but is a beast when she get's behind the drum kit!

I think everything you had done on the was on the old channel, they have been on hiatus for a while as multiple members had children and other family things going on for the past 2 or 3 years. IT's more of a family band now with the 2 male members both being married to 2 of the 3 ladies in the band as well. I think it was 4 females with the male drummer before the long break.

You'll be busy in late August when the 19 additional live tracks from Memorial For the Warrior Souls will be released along with their EP with 5 brand new songs. That's only if they don't release more tracks before the release date. 😉

It comes down to a lot of hard work and practice. Having said that, M&M are so unbelievably talented that it makes their harmonizations look completely effortless and telepathic.
