Women are not to preach in church, it is shameful for you to preach! Women are to remain quiet! It's scripture, how can you believe what you preach if you don't believe and listen to all of it?

It's easy when watching sermons on video to disconnect a bit and think the response isn't for you. I just wanted to say that couldn't be farther from the truth. If you want to respond to this message you can do so in your home right now. If you need support, get in touch, either with the church or with me, we'd love to stand with you.

There should be no such thing, jesus said all prayers would be answered. Another case of the bible contradicting itself.

_"Faith means trusting in Jesus . It is possible because we can know Jesus lived, died and rose again for us."_ How? How can you "know" that? Do you have *one piece of good evidence* that your god actually exists? Do you have *one piece of good evidence* that _any_ of the magical/supernatural stories in the Bible actually happened? I mean, I'm willing to grant you a historical Jesus who lived and died. But how about *one piece of good evidence* that there was anything magical about that or, specifically, that he "rose again for us"? I must say that I disagree with you about faith, too. Sure, faith _does_ mean trust, in casual conversation. But that's because words typically have multiple meanings. And in the _religious_ sense of the word, I'd say that faith means "belief without evidence or despite the evidence." Disagree? Then how about *one* piece of good evidence? Christians keep saying that they _have_ evidence, but that's just a claim, and claims are easy. _Every_ religion makes claims. Christians certainly do. But can you demonstrate that _your_ claim is actually true? I'm not looking for a Gish Gallop of vague claims, but just *one* good example.

So God the Father cannot forgive sin unless his son Jesus gets beaten to death? What kind of weird God do you worship? Have you actually stopped to think what you are preaching? You are accountable as a teacher so be careful when you claim that God the Father requires the debt for sin to be paid off before he can forgive because that is not forgiveness, it's a transaction. Think man, think! If I owed you £100 and you decided to forgive me the debt then I would not have to pay you, right? That is forgiveness. On the other hand, if I owed you £100 but someone paid you back on my behalf then I would no longer need to forgiven. Do I make sense here?

Great talk. Science and Philosophy give reasonable ground to believe God exists. God cares for all people irrespective of skin colour or place of origin.
