Mine is in an 06 and does the same thing. Sounds kinda like a rattlesnake. I will drive mine till it dies. Mark lts are beautiful trucks.

I have the same noise in my 2008 LT 4x4 @ 145,000 miles. I'm going to change the transfer case oil and see if that makes a difference. I'll write back as soon as I do it and post the results (if any)
