Thankyou @fxtreffer! They are dreamy, aren't they? I can't take any credit, really, I just point the camera at the sky and press the button, all the rest happens all by itself :)
Wow! Those storm fronts come in so fast. Thanks. Love the music.

omg thank you so much you saved my sanity lol! Prev couldn't record in NVENC (getting NVENC param invalid error) all of a sudden, I re-installed OBS because I thought it might be after I updated it, but then cant record in Display mode ugh! This vid fixed both!!! AHH THANKS!!

Fantastic and dynamic! Which settings for the time-lapse camera do you use? AVI Frame Rate FPS? Number of pictures per minute? Thanks ...
@L1ttl3J1m3 ай бұрын
This was made with a GoPro 4, set to capture 1 frame per second to JPG. I ran them through a fairly convoluted macro on each frame in PhotoShop to centre all the colours, levels, curves, exposures, contrasts, gammas, etc, to a baseline, and then I output to h264. This one is at 60FPS, but it's also an experimental one I did to see what KZfaq's recommended settings did to the original. It didn't help much, so yeah. Looking back on it now, the original is still way, way, higher quality, even for 1080p. Mind you, that was seven years ago, and the newer ones have been much better. Maybe I should re-up it and see if things are different now. The new ones are a GoPro 9 on it's timelapse setting. It's just that video, uploaded. Just a simple framehold/duration squeeze in Premier for the faster ones. I haven't tried doing the other workflow, mainly because it takes like three days to run the PhotoShop macros, and as it is, if some of these colour shifts get any more intense, it's going to give me a coronary 🤣🤣 🤣

@@L1ttl3J1m Thanks, your answer is helpful and interesting! This means, the raw material are JPGs? I use a simple time lapse camera and I get a MP4 file. Every 3 seconds a picture, 25 FPS. Thanks for you answer 🙂

On windows 11, it's not possible to do what's done in this video. But, instead, you can add the allow-opengl command to the end of the obs short cut. 1: Right click obs 2: Open file location 3: Right click shortcut and click "properties" 4: change the target of the shortcut to "[your drive]:\Program Files\obs-studio\bin\64bit\obs64.exe" --allow-opengl
