Absolutely right! This is hit or miss though - sometimes you get it and sometimes you don’t. I’ve heard a lot of people not getting their chocolates due to them being “out”

Note - Mileage Plan will be rebranded in the next 12-18 months as the Hawaiian acquisition moves forward.

The info is slightly out of date as the A220s are already in service. JetBlue has also stated that they will be building lounges in their Mint focus cities. Also… the “days” measure is absolutely bewildering and makes no sense. The spend measure is the important factor here, not how many hours it takes to fly it, as fares change constantly. 😊

You are correct about the airbus a220. As for the lounges they don’t have any just quite yet, but like you said they are going to add some to their hub locations. As for the days measure that is for if you were to take the flights on that specific date with that specific price point. It would take you X days to reach their top tier status. Thanks for watching!

@@RindoneTravel I get your measurement. It just doesn’t make sense to use it. It’s a randomly picked fare that has no application to anything. The total spend is all one needs. How many flights it would take will depends on their flying habits. How many days though? That’s like measuring car speeds in how many deer you pass in an hour

United is now lousy. 75,000 Economy one way to Europe and 150,000 Business. Better to have Card you can transfer points to many airlines. Found one way Business to Europe on emirates and Air France / KLM for 86,000 miles one way. Delta a disaster. 300,000 miles One way in Business to Europe and even 500,000. American not bad. Got Finnair one way for about 70,000.

You have a great point here... These are lines are getting out of hand with their point redemption... 300k one way for an economy flight is NUTS! That's why having a great partner alliance is a big benefit of an airline!

I like Delta a lot, I think it’s the best domestic airline there is. And one point of contention is their labels for classes of flying. There are two convoluted. Will not keep it simple? Business Class, economy, economy plus pre-economy. End of discussion. they use these terms like Delta one… What does that mean anyway?? Delta is separating from the rest of the pack by charging more and creating a more pleasant onboard experience, such as seatback in flight entertainment, more legroom, newer planes, and more options for routing.

I agree that delta might be the best domestic airline! They are quite complex in their class of service- but provide great amenities!

Very informative, good job. What sucks about Delta is they removed MQM's toward Medallion status. My wife is Silver but doesn't spend the 5k now required even though she fly's 50k miles a year internationally to Peru. Looks like she will be switching to LATAM Pass or back to Star Alliance now that Avianca is starting BC again out of NYC.

Thanks the watching Ed. It seems that Delta really messed up their loyalty program this year with rolling out higher MQM... seems everyone was upset about that. Delta also realized that and pushed back some of the requirements!
